Underground Competiton Pt. 5

Levi's P.O.V.

After the other group, Underground Dogs, performed, we all stood on the cardboard. I had my arm around Mina, and she was tucked into my side, her hand on my chest. Sakura had her back against my arm, leaning against me.

"Now it is time to announce this year's Underground Dance Champions!" Misawa yelled.

Mina's fingers curled, grabbing my shirt. I looked at her. Tears were rolling down her face. She buried her face in my chest, and I tightened my arm around her.

"This year's champion is........" Misawa said.

The crowd yelled in anticipation. Misawa looked at his group of boys, and then he looked at us. Sakura stood up straight and folded her arms across her chest. Misawa shivered a bit and held his left arm up.

"Wings of Freedom!"

The crowd cheered. Sakura started jumping up and down. I looked at Mina right as she kissed me.

"Hell yeah! We won!" Sakura cheered.

Kris and our new squad member, Kyoya, smiled at her. Mina grabbed her cup of wine and held it up toward me. She was across the table from me.

"Cheers to Captain Rivaille, who lead us to victory once again." She said.

Sakura, Kris, and Kyoya hit their cups to hers. I lifted mine and tilted it toward her.

"Cheers, Mina."
