Underground Competition Pt. 4

Mina's P.O.V.

Levi watched as we practiced. He smiled when we finished.

"So the third round is basically the same as the first? You do the same routine?" He asked.

"Yeah. The crowd decides the winner." Sakura said.

A shiver ran down my spine when someone licked my neck.

"Hello, Sweet thing~" a voice sang.

"Yuzan, go away." I snapped.

Levi's eyes glowed in anger. Yuzan chuckled and stood in front of me, blocking Levi from my veiw. He trailed his cold, disgusting fingers down my neck.

"Don't be so harsh, Baby." He said.

I smiled sweetly, and Levi kicked him hard in the side. I watched as Yuzan fell to the ground. Levi stepped over him, stood beside me, and glared at Yuzan.

"Yuzan, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend." I said. "This is Levi Rivaille. He's the captain of the squad I'm on."

Levi wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. Yuzan growled as he stood up.

"You Bastard! You took my girl!" He snapped.

I stood in front of Levi. He slid his arms under mine, held onto me, and lifted my feet off of the ground. I easily swung my legs up and kicked Yuzan as hard as I could in the face. Levi set me down, maneuvered around me, and kneed Yuzan in the stomach. Sakura got behind him, tapped his shoulder, and punched him in the face when he looked at her.

"Think twice before you mess with the Special Forces." Levi snapped. "And think hard before you touch my Mina. I'll have your head on a stake the next time you touch her."

Sakura and I looked at each other. We both smiled.

"The Wings of Freedom could use a third dancer, Levi." I said.

He looked at me. "What?"

"The way I got into the Wings of Freedom four years ago was by protecting Mina. Haru was also apart of our group, but since he's gone-" Sakura stopped mid-sentence.

I laid my hand on her shoulder as a form of comfort. "We could really use another male. Glide was done with three people when we first performed it." I said.

"I don't know the routine." He mumbled.

"We can teach you!" Sakura smiled.

"Give it up for the Wings of Freedom and their new member, Captain Rivaille!" Misawa yelled.

Levi took a deep breath and walked onto the cardboard first. Sakura and I nodded at each other before we stepped up behind him. He was a foot in front of us. Levi looked at me over his shoulder. I smiled and gave him a thumbs-up.

Misawa started our music, and all three of us started dancing. The girls in the crowd squealed while they watched Levi. The men gawked at me and Sakura.

When we finished our routine, we turned to face the crowd. They were cheering extremely loud. I laid my hand on Levi's shoulder. He jumped a little and looked at me.

I smiled and kissed him.
