Is She Okay?

Sakura's P.O.V.

I closed the door to the barracks as I walked in.

"Guys? I'm back!" I yelled.

"Sakura!" Captain Levi yelled.

I dropped what I had in my hands and ran to his room. He was laying on the bed with Mina. That's when I noticed it.

Blood was staining the bed, and it was coming from between Mina's legs.

"We have to get her to the hospital! Now!" I told Levi.

God, don't let it be their baby. I thought.

Levi paced back and forth. I sighed and sat back in my chair.

"Captain, calm down. You're starting to make me dizzy." I said.

He took a deep breath and sat next to me. I looked at him. He was pale and exhausted.

"Levi, you know what this means, don't you?" I asked.

He sat forward, put his elbows on his knees, and laid his head on his hands. I rubbed his back gently.

"Are you two here for Mina?" A nurse asked.

Levi instantly looked up. "Is she okay?"

The nurse looked at him, and her eyes narrowed. "She's fine. The baby, on the other hand, didn't make it. We had to perform emergency surgery to remove it from her."

Levi's face fell, and I sighed.

"Could you tell what it was?" I asked.

"It was far enough developed to identify it as a boy." The nurse answered.

"Can we see her?" Levi whispered.

The nurse took us to Mina's hospital room. As soon as we saw her, I stopped in my tracks. Mina looked so fragile. She was crying, her face red because of it.

"Mina?" Levi whispered, walking up to her.
