" I am not sure but I feel like this letter is addressed to you Ein" Zem voiced her opinion.
Oliver, Zem, and Ein were seated in one of the tables at the library with the book of aura, and the letter laid out at the core of the table. Ein had confided in them everything about the book and the letter.
"But why would my mom write something like this, I get to see her every day" Ein retorted.
"that's what confusing me too" Zem approved.
" Whatever it is I think the letter is a urgent one. There must be something dangerous lurking around to steal the book of life" Oliver said deep in thoughts.
"Zem " Adeline called out from somewhere near.
Three of them yanked the book and the letter to their side to hide it. Adeline reached near the table. Their luck was bad the letter slipped and fell near Adeline's foot.
She looked at it closely and bend to pick it up.
"Where did you get this? " she asked surprise evident in her voice.
"Is that your's mom?" Zem inquired.
"No, why do you ask that?"
"We got it from the book" Ein said. Both Oliver and Zem stamped on her feet to shut her up but they were too late. Eins eyes started to water.
"it was in the book of aura? " Adeline verified once again.
With no other way the three of them nodded.
"do u know what these letters are mom?"zem asked.
"These are not ordinary letters. The sole owner of this seal and the red envelope is the Selene queen. No one other than her has access to these so that anyone who receives this will know it's from the Selene. These are adjusted to a particular time, date, year, and person. The letter will only become visible to that person on that date and year. So I guess this is addressed to you Ein" Adeline explained.
"How did you know?" Ein asked wide-eyed.
"I just guessed" she proceeded without meeting their eyes as if she was concealing something.
"do you mind if I keep it?" Adeline enquired.
Oliver and zem shook their heads at Ein as a warning.
"if it doesn't offend you, can I keep it?" Ein asked awkwardly.
"it's okay ein" Adeline returned it to her with a disapproving look.
"Aze is asking for you zem, that's why I came here" she retreated back to the house. They waited till her footsteps vanished.
"How could you spill it out Ein, those elders will create a big problem if they know about this" Zem complained
Ein sheepishly smiled at them.
"I think we must try to find this book" Oliver declared.
"yeah me too, if the Selene had written this letter to Ein before her death it must be really important." Zem continued
"wait what? She is dead?" Ein asked shocked.
"oh Ein, she died in the great massacre twenty years ago" Zem replied
Ein felt pain again like something deep inside her whirled awake. What was this again?
"what? then how could this letter reach me?"
"These are not ordinary human letters Ein they are magically bound. Even if the person who sent is dead, the letter will fulfill to reach its destination and owner " Oliver explained
