She shut her eyes waiting for the light to hit her. Was the light powerful enough to kill her?There was small pop as if the light had hit on something hard but it didn't harm her like she was anticipating.
She slowly opened her eyes. The beam of light had been projected into the necklace that the daturas gave her. After a few moments, the moon sphere locket reflected the beam of light onto the floor.
The whole arrangement was like a light reflecting on a series of mirrors. Is this some kind of physics class where they taught you about reflection and refraction? Shut up it's not the time for jokes Ein said to her inner self. As the light fell on the floor it started forming a glowing pattern, it became brighter and brighter, at last, they all had to shut their eyes from the heavy blare of the light. 'boom' a loud blast echoed through the room they covered their ears. Was it a bomb? Or maybe firecracker?
They waited for the impact of the blast to reach them but nothing came. Ein opened her eyes the floor was replaced by an image of a large white full moon shining bright. It looked so real. She looked at Zem and Aze , both mirroring her expression of awe at the moon. They looked at each other then looked around as Ol was nowhere to be seen.
Zem was the first one to find him on the floor his arms spread out, eyes closed and his hands on his chest. They all started laughing.
"am I dead?" he mumbled his eyes still shut.
"wake up you fool" Zem poked him.
"I must be in heaven. Are you an angel?" Oliver continued.
They all started laughing out aloud.they could barely control their laughter.
"wake up Ol" Ein called out.
Finally, he opened his eyes, and goofily smiled at them. always count on Ol to lighten up any situation.
Aze moved towards the door to check if someone has noticed the blast. No one was running here so it must mean the sound was present only in the room. he locked the door.
they all gathered around the moon.
"What happened just now?" Zem questioned becoming serious.
"no idea" Ol replied.
"did the light hit on you?" Aze asked concerned.
"no it hit my necklace and it reflected onto the floor " Ein explained.
Zem extended her hands towards the moon image.
"wait" Ein shouted. Zem stopped midway looking at her confused, with all the recent experience she had learned never to touch anything with bare hands.
She tossed a pencil from the table to Zem, mimicking to touch with that.
Zem poked the moon with a pencil. when there was no explosion or outburst Ein gave her approval to touch with hands.
Aze carefully brushed through the moon.even the surface of the image felt like the texture of the moon.
"Why did the image appear here suddenly?" Zem asked.
"I think it must be a door" Ol suggested.
They all tried pushing the image, nothing happened.
Ein brushed her fingers through the rough texture of the moon.
"Guys, is it my eyes or is the book of aura shining again?" Zem questioned.
Everyone whirled towards the book.
The whole book was not shining just a single word was letting out the light. they screwed their eyes to read it.
"oh Enceladus" they all read the words,as soon as they read it disappeared. subsequently the map piece begun to light, the light highlighting another word.
"lass uns in" Ein readout.
Soon her necklace started to shine forming two words
"dein zuhause" she read that aloud too. the others were looking at her perplexed.
"finally the German classes I took at school came to use," Ein mumbled turning to the others, they raised their eyebrows questioning my.
"it reads 'lass uns in Dein zuhause which means woooaah--
Ein let out a scream, in front of their eyes Ein disappeared or more like she was pulled into the moon image.
Stunned they stared at teach other.
"EIN WAS JUST PULLED INTO THE IMAGE" Zem shouted at the top of her voice.
Being recovered from their shock they began thinking frantically.
"How the hell did that happen" Aze mumble ruffling his hair in frustration.
"Ol you know German right? What did the sentence mean?"
He shook his head sheepishly.
"I just know the basics," he said "Let's just search in our phone"
Aze picked his phone and began typing.
"It means let us in your home" He readout.
"So Ein was taken to wherever its home is ?" zem thought aloud."that doesn't make any sense"
"This image is not of the earths moonour . The first words were 'oh Enceladus'. I have read somewhere that Enceladus is one of the moons of Saturn and its mostly covered by ice" Aze explained
"Does that mean Ein is trapped in space" Zem let out horrified?
"if it's covered with ice will she survive?" Ol added.
"I don't think she is pulled into space," Aze mumbled.
"do something guys, we can't leave her alone" Zem was on the verge of crying.
"Let's just repeat the sentence and check if something will happen" Ok suggested.
There all chanted 'oh Enceladus, lass uns in Dein zuhause' they waited and waited. Nothing happened.
"Did she do something else?" Zem asked confused.
"none that I am aware of" Ol replied.
"What should we do it's already been ten minutes. what if she is trapped there life long" zem continued babbling about the worst possibilities.
"I think she was touching this moon" Aze raised his doubt.
"Let's try it," Zem said
They reached their hands out to the image and repeated.
'oh Enceladus, lass uns in Dein zuhause'
