Fili Request

This is a Fili request from @_miss_marvel_ I hope you all enjoy.

Since the first day he had saw her, Fili that Lily was beautiful. She wasn't like everyone else. She was different.

But she never saw it. All the time Lily would hide away from the others. Sometimes Fili though that Lily was acting like she hated herself just because she didn't have a beard or because she was slightly skinnier than the others.

He had to admit that, even now, she was still determined to do what she wanted. Liiy never let it stop her. From what he had seen, she had never stopped training how to use a sword and a shield, even if it did raise eyebrows. Fili would aid her, help her learn. He would watch her when she least expected it.

Fili remembered a few years back when Lily was alone. She was set upon by a group of bandits and, when Fili and Kili and arrived to the scene, all the bandits were dead. Lily shrugged at the questions and quizzical looks, only saying They deserved it. They tried to rob me. There is a reason as to why I decided to fight than just for the hell of it.

It was that day that Fili had decided something and had spotted a light in her that he doubted anyone could see.

Fili currently watched her as she stumbled through the crowd of dwarves with Kili. They liked to hang around together. Most days Fili would be alongside them, but he was voted to be the 'guardian'. If something went wrong, he would have to get them out of trouble. Somehow. Kili he could come up with an excuse easily, but no one would believe anything he would say if Lily was caught.

"Keep away from me." One of the citizens stated.

"Menu shirumund." Another would point out the obvious.

Lily would walk away most of the time, ignoring it. But today, of all days, she had snapped.

"Khagam menu relika pembu rukhas!" She declared, pointing to the latest offender. She pointed to another offender, "Gelek menu caragu rukhs!" And then another, "Rukhsu menu!" Then another, "Ozirum menu seleku!"

That was enough insults for one day. Fili walked over to Lily and took her wrist. "Everyone, men gajumu for her behaviour. It was uncalled for." He sighed, "Now, if you do not mind, I'll just have a quick word with her.

The public nodded. Fili smiled at them apologetically, leading Lily to a quiet place that was out of sight.

"What is wrong with you, Liliy?" Fili asked, releasing his grip on her wrist, as his voice took a tone of strong concern.

"I don't know." Lily replied, her voice was quiet. "Everything."

Fili shook his head and thought for a while. "Can you do something for me, Lily? It isn't much."

Lily looked at Fili, "And what would that be?"

"Ignore them. Please? You are unique and they just can't see it." Fili said, "You are you. You are who you are and you do not need to change that. Not for anyone."

Lily smiled a little, "Ooh. Has someone got a small crush?"

Fili rolled his eyes. "All I am saying is this. You are beautiful. The unruly, curly red hair on your head? Perfect. The difference in body size? Perfect. The fact that you can use weapons and they can't? Shows intelligence. Don't let you pull you down. Because they don't deserve you words. They don't deserve to hear your voice."

Lily looked at him. "Very poetic."

"Lily, I'm being serious."

"I know." She smiled softly, "I can see it in your eyes. But I do not believe you."

Fili sighed and put a hand on her chin, lifting been head slightly and he smiled as he kissed her briefly. "What about now?"

"Yes." Lily nodded and smiled.

"Good." Fili took her hands into his own, "Because you are my princess."
