Astrids POV
Its been a few hours since we entered the raging storm. We should turn back and wait it out, I thought. "Hicc-" I started
"Astrid look!" Hiccup yelled enthusiastically. I looked to where he was pointing there was light.
"Toothless fly into the light!" I heard him yell through the storm.
"We made it, we actually made it," I cheered, we landed on an island for a few hours, Then I said "we should look for an island to call our own"
"yea, your right"Hiccup said but I could tell he was lost in thought.
After a few hours, we came across an island that was perfect. "let's check this one out," I said.
"toothless let's go," Hiccup replied
"It's perfect," We both said at the same time, then we burst out laughing.
"I guess we don't have to vote now" Hiccup giggled
"Yea," I said half in space, I wonder what berk is doing now I mean it took a whole day to find this place. And I was also thinking about how hiccups giggle was so adora- wait! what! what am I thinking? D-Do I have a crush on him? not that its a bad thing. Ugh, I seriously need to clear my head after we finish building Dragons' edge, we decided to call the island that.
---Time skip---
Its been 2 months since we found dragons' edge and we finally finished building everything. I now have time to think... I don't know what to think about hiccup but I DO know that he's a friend. But is he something more?...
"Hey, you okay?" Hiccup asked me softly
"Huh, Oh yea just...thinking" I muttered.
"about?" Hiccup asks curiously.
"...about how berk is dealing with us 'dead'" I lie.
"Oh, "Hiccup suggests hesitantly, "W-We can go back to see how they are doing if you want..."
"Thanks for the offer but no that would only make it worse," I reply thankfully.
"I have a surprise for you tomorrow, meet me at the arena at 8 am tomorrow," Hiccup tells me then gets on toothless and flys away.
---The next day---
"Where are you Hiccup?" I murmur.
"Right here," I hear behind me. I see Hiccup leaning against a pole in the arena with 2 dragons.
I walk over to him and ask "what is it?"
"This" he simply says and grabs my hand and puts it near the Blue and Gold Deadly Nadders nose. "look away, trust me," I'm hesitant but I do as he says. After a few seconds, the Nadder puts her nose against my hand I open my eyes and smile then I realize what the surprise was.
"Name her," Hiccup states.
"Hmm, how about stormfly?" I ask the nadder then she roars cheerfully.
"Stormfly it is then" I chuckle.
