plot:
UPHOLDING the Strickland name was about as much of hell as anyone would expect it to be. Despite being the popular girl in the Hill Valley, the title didn't come with its own drawbacks. She was pressured into maintains her best effort constantly whether it came to grades, friends, or her hobbies. There wasn't much Rosanna was able to do to catch herself a break. This being the complete opposite to the slacker her uncle so despised who roamed the halls of the high school like the skater boy persona he tried so hard to come off as.
The teenagers only knew the other by reputation, but Rosanna wasn't keen on acquainting herself with someone who had so little respect for her studies. Even with his lacking qualities, she didn't think he deserved to be openly bullied. No less by her boyfriend's jock friends planning on wrecking up Marty's known acquaintance Doctor Emmett Brown whom she heard her uncle speak on behalf of when she was acting hall manager that Friday morning, October 25th, 1985. . . to be exact.

• ^ literally like a scene where Marty is trying to play her a song by Van Halen or Def Leppard and she just doesn't have it but they agree on Prince being godtier 😌✨
• thinks her uncle is a bit much but still has that mentality of putting only your best effort in whatever it is you do
• she's adamant on Marty only calling her Rosanna so he annoys her and sings the chorus of Rosanna by TOTO until she gets sick of it and let's him call her Anna

• boyfriend was going to pull a prank on the Doc, but she didn't think it was right picking on someone even if they are v. weird so she goes to tell Marty and then ends up at Lone Pine Mall at 1am and y'know the rest is history
• slow burn. excruciatingly so if this is going to be following the trilogy i kinda didn't expect for them to get together until after EVERYTHING is already through with getting back to '85
