plot:
FOLLOWING the disappearance of her parents Mickey Smith and Martha Jones-Smith now five years ago, their daughter attends the high school to find an overly enthusiastic biology substitute that takes a keen interest over her. The Doctor finds out about what happened to Mickey and Martha and takes it upon himself to look after their daughter to keep her life from falling apart. In doing so, however, the two slowly uncover the truth behind their disappearances and the corruption still held within their superior's for allowing it to happen.

notes:
• has a connection with Torchwood, being cared for by Captain Jack Harkness considering he always kept in touch with Mickey and Martha following them leaving the Doctor
• Captain Jack should have a bigger part in this if going to keep this tie between their daughter and him^^
• i always envisioned it as eleven being the one in this fic, but i personally think it could work for ten, twelve, and thirteen imo
• the main plot would be her and the Doctor going on adventures, obvi, and then inevitably having to actually find out what happened to Mickey and Martha in the first place considering that's the only reason she wanted to go with him at all
• did not originally plan for any love interest, but if it leads in that direction i wouldn't be surprised
• not particularly great in science or math, but does have a love for history
