This is one of the stories that I loved to write. I am editing it at the moment but you can still read it :)
Note: NOT ALL CHAPTERS ARE UP, so if you read all of these, dont go to the sequel, it wont work out very well.

My original story, please don't steal...

I entered this story in a contest and I received some amazing news.

The writing contest was by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, this story got a golden key in the local program in Washington State. I am so happy, I never expected this to happen. Thanks for reading <3

This story may change a bit in the next couple weeks btw

What He Doesn't Know

Prologue:

November 11th, 2014

"Harmony, it's your turn. Truth or dare?" Carol asks.

All eyes turn to me, I take a deep breath and look down.

My name is Hermione, but people think it's nice to call me Harmony. When I was little, I always said 'Harmony instead of 'Hermione'.

"Uh... Truth." I say awkwardly as a million possible questions overflow my mind.

She rolls her eyes. "You're so boring, Harm!" They all laugh. "Just to spice things up a bit... who do you like?"

Oh no.

"Really?" I roll my eyes.

This is what I don't like about their sleepovers, they always ask questions like these and they never keep it a secret.

"I don't have a crush." I struggle to say.

"Oh, yes you do!" Victoria exclaims, her curly blonde hair bounces as she jumps up.

How do I tell them that I never really talk to my crush?

He is the type of guy who has all those friends around him; he's always the center of attention, yet he doesn't act like it. He's mysterious and shy, but somehow outgoing and funny too.

"Fine... It's not that important though," I mumble.

There really is no way to get out of their games of truth or dare, either you answer or you're not invited to the next sleepover.

"Tell us!" Lilian looks me in the eye.

Here's the thing about my friends, they are nothing like me.

Lilian is an intelligent, stereotypical brunette; she has the perfect grades. She's the flirty type who always has something to say. And of course, she is very outgoing. She's always been there for me and I admire that, but she pushes me to do things that are quite scary.

Victoria is definitely my opposite. She's popular and ready for anything. Whenever she wants something, she gets it. Her ambitious character gets her everything she wants: a boyfriend, captain of the math club, a job, and many scholarships.

"My crush," I start. "Is always smiling. And he is always surrounded by friends who seem to worship him as their god."

I start to picture him. His hazel eyes always have a charming shine in them.

"You guys always talk to him, yet I never even say hi to him..." I look up.

"My crush is William."

All you hear is the shrieking of two excited teenage girls and Victoria's little brother. I smile and Victoria hugs him.

"You have to tell him!" Victoria exclaims.

"No!" I yell. "Are you crazy? How could I possibly tell him?"

Victoria just shrugs and smirks.

Here we go.
