Riley's POV
I was standing with lucas on other opposite side of the hospital bed.
"Do you want me to find your dad Maya?" I asked . I held her hand and lucas held an ice pack to her head. She finally started to speak.
"I don-t, don't want to see him again," she shivered and lucas took of the pack and put a warm cloth in he head instead.
"Just see if he is alright." and I let go of her hand.
"Alrighty then." I said.
"I'll star here with her." and I hugged lucas.
....
I came back into the room with terrible news and I didn't see maya. Just a 10 year old girl getting an arrow out of her leg. Ouch!!
"Sorry," I said. "Wrong room." and I walked out. I looked at the number and remembered that was Mayas room.
"Riley," Lucas hugged me. "Mayas getting into her wheelchair and then going home!"
"Mays dad," I chocked. "Is dying."
**RILEYS HOUSE**
We returned home and then we went right to sleep.Maya wasn't gonna take the news personal anymore, she or as I can tell, she doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. So I took Maya to my room by the window and told her the news.
