You were working on a story that you had been editing on for weeks and finally got done with it. You looked at the time and said to yourself, "Looks like I've got a little bit of time to kill before I have to make dinner. Keigo should be home soon after." You walked over to the living room, f/bo (favorite book) in hand, and sat on the comfy couch.
You read your book for about 10 minutes, when exhaustion started to claim you. Your eyes felt heavy and your breathing was getting slow. Before you completely gave into your tiredness, you set an alarm on your phone because you knew how long you could sleep for if you got the chance. You then lay down on the couch and shut your eyes before falling into a deep sleep.
15 minutes later.
"I'm home," Keigo called out, wondering why the place was so quiet. Being quiet was so not like you. "Y/n?" he called out again, worried that something was wrong. He rushed into the apartment, but his nerves calmed down when he walked into the living room and saw the adorable sight of you laying on the couch, your book still cradled in your hand. Keigo smiled at how cute you were, and quietly walked over to the couch, happy that he didn't wake you up, and placed a fuzzy, red blanket over you. He took your phone and turned it off so that it wouldn't wake you up, he then leaned over and kissed my forehead and whispered, "Sweet dreams your dove."
30 minutes later
When You woke up, you realized that you were covered in a blanket and that there were noises coming from the kitchen. "Keigo must have come home early," you thought to yourself, as you watched your man working in the kitchen, feathers dashing through the air with ingredients balanced on them. Then you thought, "Wait a minute, why was Keigo in the kitchen?"
Drowsily, you reached for your phone to check and see what time it was. You noticed that it wasn't turning on for some strange reason, so you looked at the clock on the wall. When you saw the time, you bolted upright. Your husband noticed your movement and smirked.
"Hey there sleepy head," he said in a low voice.
"I am so sorry! I must have slept through the alarm! I'll get to work on dinner right away," you panicked.
"No need, dinner's all ready," he smiled at me again.
"What?" you asked, shocked and confused.
"When I came home you were sound asleep. I know how hard you've been working for the past few weeks, so I figured you deserved some rest. I turned your phone off and made your favorite dinner for us tonight," he explained.
You were in complete awe of this man who you got to call your husband. You knew how hard he worked, fighting villains, facing raving fans, sorting through paperwork, dealing with Endeavor, and he had made dinner for you. You walked over to the kitchen and hugged Keigo from behind as he was finishing fixing up the plates, careful with his wings.
"You are a saint," I mumbled between his shoulders.
"No, I'm your angel," Keigo teased. You chuckled at his corny joke.
"I don't deserve you. I love you so much," you sighed. He loosened your grip around his waist so that he could turn to face you.
He cupped your face, looked you in the eyes and said, "No, it's me who doesn't deserve you, and I love you too." He then leaned closer to you and pressed a gentle, loving kiss on your lips. You then got your plates and ate dinner on the couch.
"Oh, this tastes so good!" you sighed as you ate your favorite food. "I had no idea that you could cook!" you look at Keigo surprised.
"Only one of my many talents my dove. Besides, I had to survive on more than just take out during my bachelor days," Keigo winked at you.
"I think you should cook more often," you said.
"Only if you clean the bathroom," Keigo grinned. You stopped, he knew how much you hated cleaning the bathroom.
"Never mind, I've changed my mind," you said.
"Aww, c'mon y/n! Would it kill you to do the bathroom every now and then?" Keigo smirked.
You groaned,"Fine, deal! But only because your cooking is so good!"
"Ha, ha, ha! Fair enough!" Keigo laughed.
The two of you finished eating your dinner, and cuddled up, watching a movie together; but you didn't really watch the movie. You just spent the rest of your evening talking and relaxing in each other's arms.
