Hey amazing readers. Here's chapter 5, specially for you. I hope you like it.
💖💖💖Thank you for reading.
____________________________________________________________________________"What are you doing here?" I ask studying him as he steps in a bit too close, causing me to back away. The nerve.
"Hello to you too Shallo. I... want my dog." He blurts out scanning the interior. Rude! Look Hot stuff, I know you're probably richer than we are, but that doesn't give you the right to look down on others.
"You said tomorrow at 8 am. What happened?" I straighten up and confidently look up at him. Damn was he tall. And handsome. Cut it out Shay. Well it isn't wrong to give compliments. If you think someone is cute tell them. It won't cost a thing.
"You didn't reply to any of my text messages so I assumed something terrible had happened to you." He pinches my cheek his face emotionless. That is fake concern I can tell.
I clout his hand away, battling for the right words.
"How did you find our location?" That is a dumb question. You live in a world of technology Shallo. Take. that. question. back! He probably thinks you're dumb now. What were you thinking?
I bring heels together fast and stand straight like a soldier when he spoke up.
"Can I have my dog?" He asks in a monotone that I find attractive. Okay, I'm shameless.
"We ate him up!" I mentally pat my shoulder for that.
Before I knew it, I am pushed to the side. Asshole! That's what he is!
He rushes upstairs, waking Danny up with his loud steps. Was he using a tracker or something? He is now wearing a plain white Tshirt, that hugged his biceps perfectly, black ripped Jeans and boots. He looks a lot like Jake in those clothes. Why do they have so much in common?
I follow him up. Suddenly, slamming my face into his hard chest as he suddenly turned. Our faces inches apart. He grips my arms, balancing me, preventing me from stumbling and falling. His touch sending chills to my spine. I have officially failed the The law of the heart. I don't know what that means, but Yeah, I'm a failure.
I'm currently feeling like a dwarf in his hands. My cheeks shamelessly heating up.
"Watch your steps!" His voice deep yet calm. It sure is doing wonders to my stomach. I mentally slap myself for feeling that way. WHY IN THE NAME OF THE ANCESTORS IS HE HAVING A STRONG EFFECT ON ME?? Only Jake and only him could ever make me feel this way. No one else.
"No, you watch how you walk!" I maneuvour from his grip. I walk past him and slam the door of Danny and I's bedroom in his face and lock it. If he wants to play the 'rude' card, He should count me in.
"If you want your dog, 8 am tomorrow at the exact place you gave him to us." I tell him not sure if he heard me. I am now feeding his dog some leftover slices of pizza thanks to Danny. I think I love dogs. I don't mind staying with him for some time.
Ashton's POV
"What is wrong with you Shallo? Open this fucken door right now, or I'll break it down!" I can't hear her properly as her voice is muffled by the door. But she uttered something about giving me my dog at 8 am tomorrow at the exact place I gave him to them.
"What is going on here? Can't I just take a little nap without disruption?" I turn to see the same girl that was in the car with Shallo. What's her - Yes, Danny.
"Do you have any idea where Stew, my dog is. I swear your friend is capable of anything." I continue knocking on the door.
"Shallo had him a few hours back."
"Is he okay?" I ask, afraid that Shallo had done something to Stew. I mean why would she say she ate him up. People eat animals. I heard they even eat cats in some countries.
"I don't know. I was sleeping! Check in the pots in the kitchen. She prepared stew in the afternoon." I'm really starting to lose it. She's purposefully saying this to mess with me.
"I'm talking about Stew, my dog."
"Like I said Shay had him. I was sleeping. I don't know what happened to him. She's a great cook tho. " These girls are really playing tricks on my mind. If I stay I might lose it. I groan so loud and storm out of their cheap apartment. I know it's classy but cheap. I am now fuming up.
I need to take Stew to aunt Ria. Only her can take care of him while I'm away on camp. Fucken camp. Shallo on the other hand just changed my plans like that.
I get in my car and drive off. I have no choice but to do as Shallo said. Nobody tells me what do, except for my father, but Shallo, she got really comfortable bringing me down to my knees. I'm gonna put her in her place these three days I have left before leaving for camp. Screw you Frank Mustafa.
I don't care if Shallo is a great cook, she's better not have eaten Stew. So she's a great cook and a spitfire too? Awesome. I need someone like her. Focus Ashton, focus. Her skin omg! So soft. I've been thinking about her for some time now. I need to stop. But I can't help it.
I need to think of something to pay her back for what she did earlier. I pull in the driveway slowly noticing Maia's Benz outside my house. I sigh driving inside the yard. I park my car and saunter towards the house.
"Hey baby." She utters hugging me. I hug her back not feeling it. Her perfume hits the wrong nerve in my nose again and I pinch my nose bridge. What have I gotten myself into?
"Where were you? Why didn't you tell me where you were going?"
" Jeez Maia! Do I have to tell you everything? " She looks at me with her puppy eyes that never worked on me.
"Uhuh! I'm your girlfriend Ash. " What in the name of fuck did I miss? Girlfriend? Already? I have never asked this girl out in my life!!
"You're not my girlfriend Maia. We are friends. I know things got heated up once but that was it. And stop. calling me. Ash, Maia. Call me Ashton, alright?" I clarified patting her shoulder as I walk past her, heading to my room. I told her all these things already.
See, I'm straight forward when it comes to these things. I'm not a rough relationship type- scratch that, not a relationship type. First thing first, I'm too picky with what I like. And I leave no stone unturned. I'm Ashton Mustafa.
