INSEPARABLE

I might update either short or very long chapters as I continue writing. I think I'm falling  for Ashton. He thinks he's heartless but he's just another heartthrob.

"Don't do this Danny." I try to reason with her. I tag along with her to the living room. I tighten my grip on my phone as I walk down the stairs. I always do that, fearful that my phone might fall out of my hands.

"You need to get Jake off your mind and do something fun. You even lost weight " She said plopping onto the couch.

"How much are we talking about?" I pray it's hella expensive this way I can give a reason to stay back.

" N$2k. But don't worry about it. I have a scholarship that pays for everything and I will also cover your fee." What is Danny saying? We are talking about 4k all together.

" Is Megan coming?" I ignore what she said as I was suddenly concerned about Megan.

"Fuck Megan!"I widen my eyes my lips pursed in a thin line. "We lost Jake and not once has she called us. That's stupid."

She is right. I mean...Megan can be a pain in the neck sometimes but she is still our friend. We have been through a lot together. And sometimes we need to understand people are different. Not everyone is like you.

"Hello putas!" Speak of the devil.

I glance at Danny who is already ready for action. Danny and I are different. I speak, she fights. Perfect combination.

I watch as Megan excitedly stretch her arms out to engulf Danny into a hug. In a blink of an eye, Danny's fist connects with Megan's pretty jaw. Her head snaps to the side as she stumbled, balancing herself against the couch I'm peacefully sitting on, dropping her purse down with a thud.

"Danny!" I scream, placing my phone on the couch. I hasten to them in order to separate them or this place  turns into a battlefield.

"What's your problem Danny?" Megan winces rubbing the sore spot. That didn't break her jaw, did it? I wouldn't be surprised if it did. That was an agonising punch.

"That was for you being bitchy." She continues, "Jake died and you didn't even spare a little bit of your time to come and see your friends and grieve with them for a day – maybe two – and then fill their world with as much sunshine as possible."

"Guys, stop it. You can't solve the problem by fighting." Yep, I am talking to myself because these two are busy shoving each other like little girls.

"I said STOP IT!!!" I'm certain the whole neighbourhood heard my voice.

"What's the matter with you two?" I continue.

They both look at me like I have grown horns. Just when Megan spoke up. "I was going to tell-"

"Oh shut up maggot!" I cut her off. I hope she forgives me for calling her that. I should really control my mouth. Words fly out before I know it.

"If you wanted to talk so bad, you would have come check on us when Jake died." I said, glaring at her.

Danny has her hands thrusted in the pockets of her sweatpants. Still prepared for whatever. This girl is unpredictable.
