The air between our nearing lips was sparked with hot energy, the anticipation of our lips touching stirring a blazing heat down to my core. And, with a hand, she guided me forwards.

The sweet sensation of her lips against mine fueled the vibrant fire within my heart. Katherine's lips were so soft and so warm, though they pulled at mine with more fierce and intent as her hands travelling over my shoulders, gripping them. And, desperately did we began grabbing at one another. I would had blamed myself and my wicked indulgence, but she was pulling with the same dire need as I was.

She needed to feel me. She needed to taste my lips, just as I had yearned to taste hers.

A hand delved into my dark hair, pulling on it, softly, her trimmed nails cold against my scalp, and it was a reminder of her impatience.

Her smirk soon vanished and settled into a growing smile as her lips moved against mine, her sweet floral scent filling the air and intoxicating me. I could definitely be okay with doing this forever.

I felt her hands as they moved to my thighs, cupping them, before lifting me off of my seat and into her lap.

"K-Katherine," I screeched, unexpecting her movements.

Through the fabric of her jeans, I could feel the warmth exerted from her legs, and my cheeks flushed at the idea of my skin possibly making contact with hers.

Her hands travelled down my sides, and my eyes instinctively fluttered shut as I began imagining direct contact of her fingers against my bare skin, giving off a paradoxical heat despite the actuality of her cold brushes.

"She makes me warm," I thought. Just being with her like this...

I wished these moments would last forever- that there didn't have to be an end to them. Intertwined with Katherine, feeling her heart against mine. And, as her hands adjusted behind my lower back, pulling me closer, I found myself focusing on her pulse as my chest pressed against hers. The sweetest sound. The magnetic drum that had called to me.

Her lips stilled against mine, leaving one last fervent kiss against mine, before she pulled merely inches away.

I began to wonder why such a kiss had to stop so soon, but then her light eyes flickered open to capture my expression, looking deep into my ocean orbs. I knew the look well, for it had closely resembled how I had felt in my heart from every touch and every thought of her.

She was no longer pulling away. She was no longer denying me nor our connection. Instead, she wanted to get out of her head and let our bodies do the talking.

"I've tried so hard to convince myself that I shouldn't give in to my desires..." She reached for my face, outlining my lips with a finger, as her eyes then lowered to them. "...but then you're you, and I couldn't care less about anything else."

A small breath left my parting lips as I looked at her with enlarged eyes. How could someone that I believed to had known well still seem to surprise me? Maybe, I'll surprise her too.

I puckered my lips, giving Katherine's finger a short kiss prior to eloping my hands behind Katherine's porcelain neck.

"How about, tonight, we just think of each other?" I suggested while brushing my thumbs over her skin.

So soft; so smooth. I just want to kiss all over her.

She hummed while tilting her head slightly to the side, looking at me, curiously, and I furthered.

"Right now, it's just the two of us in the whole world."

My lips quirked into a subtle smirk, channeling my inner Katherine's flirtatious energy, and I reached for a strand of her blond hair, letting it slide in between two fingers.
