After a couple hours of talking, Simon went home. After I let him out, I closed the door and sighed. I slumped against the door.
Damn it.

Vincent got home an hour later. He walked through the front door.
"Hey. How was your little playdate?" He asked, taking his coat off.
"It wasn't a playdate." I grumbled.
"Woah. Are you okay? Tell me what happened." He headed upstairs. I followed him.
This is such a mess.
We walked into his room and sat on his bed.
"Okay. Tell me." He said.
I scratched my head. "This, is.. gonna be a mess." I confessed. He nodded in response.
I told him everything. His face went from blank, to concerned, to straight up shocked.
"You kissed him?"
"Yeah." I sighed, feeling crummy.
"Wow. And he doesn't like you back, but he still wants to remain friends?"
"Yep."
He rested his chin on his hand and looked at me.
"So, what do I do now? He doesn't hate me but.. I still feel bad."
"Move on."
I looked at him.
"Yeah, Jasper. Move on. You'll hurt yourself if you don't. Don't dwell on it. I mean sure, you feel bad and embarrassed now but, it'll pass. It should pass." He said.
I felt tears prick my eyes as hugged him. He ruffled my hair.
"Thank you." I said.
