han jihyun was perfectly normal. at least that's what she thought. everyone else, on the other hand, seemed to disagree with her. that's why she was there, alone, in...

hyunjin was shook.
i was sure this was her room. where are they keeping her?
wallowing in his sadness, hyunjin did not notice chanhee's extremely audible gasp and continued to feel the emotions that were slowly consuming him more and more. but he finally was forced to acknowledge chanhee's presence when he tapped on his shoulder.
"hyunjin!" chanhee exclaimed. "what do you want?" "i found jihyun!" "what?" "she's in the next room!"
hastily speeding out of the current one, hyunjin sprinted outside and peered into the glass of the room behind. stupid, i must have gotten the room number wrong. shakily, the boy scanned his keycard and opened the door to the correct room this time.
walking in, he met her eyes.
there she was, right in front of him.
finally, he had found her, and they were going to be able to get out of here. alive and happy, together.
but before he could take any action, a high pitched hollered, "CHANHEE."
in fact, it was so loud that hyunjin tumbled over his own feet while trying to progress into the room.
"CHANGMIN." an even higher voice, screeched.
hyunjin only had one guess as to who the voices were, well it was pretty evident as they had even yelled each other's names.
the two boys rushed into each other's embrace, silver tears peaking out of their dark eyes. paying no more attention to the two friends he strutted towards jihyun. except, she was not there.
there was only nayeon.
wait,,, nayeon ???
"nayeon? why are you-"
"in a cell?"
"uh- yeah."
hyunjin had a very fond memory of nayeon.
in fact, he worked very closely with her in the days that jihyun was still in the asylum. every time he sent her breakfast, or every time he swapped out her medication, he had to get through nayeon. so thus, in this process, the two had become friends.
"i helped changmin try and get jihyun out of the asylum, we failed and they imprisoned us here."
oh.
well, hyunjin didn't really think anyone else was looking for her. he guessed that he was the only one that cared enough to. spoiler alert: he was wrong.
"well, I'm here to get you out i guess."
"i sense you're disappointed."
"no, just tired."
turning his head away from her, he looked back at chanhee and changmin. the two were still hugging.
as expected.
"i was so worried." chanhee sobbed to his companion, both still crying.
"i'm sorry..." the younger whispered.
"there is nothing to be sorry about."
chanhee was relieved. finally, he had gotten his kyu back and hopefully, the two could now find jihyun and get out of here.
but it wasn't that simple.
he knew it wasn't.
but nonetheless, the two got up from the floor and continued to act as normal.
well, normal.
"so- where to next?" changmin asked.
nobody spoke up. until nayeon did, "jisung would have taken her somewhere we wouldn't look- so we have to think outside the box to find her."
changmin froze. did she just-
"um, jisung? what's he got to do with any of this?" hyunjin questioned.
"well you see-" but the boy was cut off by a shrill alarm sound just as he was about to finish his sentance.
