to her dismay, the girl was back in her plain white room, thinking about the events that had taken place the last few days.
more like trying her best to navigate through the maze of memories that she was trapped in.
there were certain parts she remembered and certain parts she didn't.
she recalled going to the shopping mall with hyunjin and jisung. she recalled sitting down at a restaurant to eat. but she didn't recall the events after that. all she remembered was waking up in hyunjin's apartment and their flour fight.
however, she had a bad feeling about jisung. hyunjin did not speak of the boy when he was explaining the situation to her so she thought something was wrong.
the sound of nayeon's smooth, sweet voice had pulled the girl out of her trance. "here's your meal!" the older woman greeted happily as she passed the tray of food to the younger.
taking a look at her plate, jihyun was baffled. there was a key aspect of her meal gone.
where are my pills?
황현진 hyunjin was overjoyed.
he had just come back from a meeting with his supervisor about jihyun. it was the normal routine report he would do every week, yet this time it was different.
he had gotten amazing news. that jihyun would be let out.
tomorrow.
it seemed too good to be true to the male but it was happening. finally.
he was now on his way to the girl's room to inform her about the great news. he was literally skipping. to any one bypassing, it would look incredibly stupid- which it did. but he didn't care.
by this time, he had already reached the girl's chamber and had pressed his keycard on the scanner and opened the door.
"oh, hi hyunjin!" she greeted. "heyyyyyyyYYyYyYy!" be greeted back. "ok so i have some gReAt news." he started, "YOU'RE LEAVING THIS PLACE!" the male yelled at the top of his lungs. "I AM?" she shouted back. "YES!"
the two engulfed each other in a bone crushing hug- as this is what they wanted all along.
he then proceeded to tell her the conditions of her leaving as she won't just be free. those conditions were: 1) she would be living with hyunjin as he had to supervise her 2) she couldn't just do as she pleased, she would have to tell hyunjin everything 3) he would still have to update the hospital on her every month.
as soon as he finished speaking, her smile grew even more. in all honesty, she was more than content with all of these conditions.
it would be just hyunjin.
and just her.
minding their own business.
well at least what's what she wanted.
but you don't always get what you want.
