**oh dear jesus forgive me. So this is a smut. Imma be straight forward. I'd never thought I'd write one of these but I did. If your are like idk 16 or younger maybe don't read this, but like, go for it... I guess? I don't really care. Just don't come at me. Well, enjoy... I guess.

"God you drive me crazy!" Poe yelled at you. He and you had never gotten along. You didn't know why general Organa deciding to put you two on a mission together was a good idea. It was far from.
"Well maybe if you'd get your head out of your ass we wouldn't be in trouble, now would we!" You threw your hands up in the air, frustrated. Being stranded on a cold wet planet with the person you couldn't stand was not your ideal moment.
"Oh don't think you're so entitled. If you would've flown to the right coordinates then we wouldn't be in this mess." Poe turned away from you and crossed his arms.
"Excuse me! I punched in the coordinates correctly. Maybe if you'd give me the right coordinates we'd be in the right system."
"Oh bullshit."
"I triple checked the coordinates Poe. I put them in exactly the same way that you had them written down."
"I didn't write them down." Poe furrowed his eyebrows. "Leia gave those to me." You pursed your lips.
"What?"
"I'm being serious y/n."
"Well then she got them wrong."
"Leia's never wrong."
"Leia's human! She makes mistakes just like the rest of us Poe. Why the hell would she send us to a wet rainy system for no reason? We have a mission."
"Well maybe our missions here." He spread his arms out. You raised your eyebrows at him and scoffed.
"Right, the person who we were sent to get, who was initially on a desert planet, might I add, is now stranded in the rain. I don't think so."
"You never know."
"No," you plopped down next to a rock. "I know."
"Right..." Poe sat down beside you. "What do we do now?" You picked up some pebbles and started to throw them at the ground to release some of your anger.
"I don't know, you tell me flyboy."
Poe sighed and rolled his eyes at your antics. Though he would never admit it, he enjoyed your company and your sassy behavior. He studied you for a moment. The little spats that you two had is honestly one of the reasons why he liked you for company. Maybe it was because you were real. Everyone else just tried to impress him. You didn't try to impress anyone.
"BB-8, start fixing the ship!" The little droid immediately got to work. "I guess we wait." He said turning to you. You just glared at the ground and continued to throw the innocent pebbles.

Hours had passed and the two of you hadn't said a thing to each other. Poe had started a fire, but that didn't stop the creeping cold from making its way through your thin clothing. You chattered your teeth and shivered, to proud to admit that you were cold.
You had dozed off a couple times, but you kept jerking awake because of the freezing air. You glanced at Poe, who seemed to be just about as cold as you were. God, you were miserable. You looked down to your hands, which were numb and purple.
"Poe, we're gonna freeze out here." He turned to you, his lips blue.
"Shit y/n. You look terrible." You glared at them and shivered some more.
"Thanks." You said in a monotone voice.
"I'm sorry I- just... come here." He spread open his arms, inviting you to come into them. You hesitated for a moment, but then realized that if you didn't try to warm each other up, you would actually freeze to death.
So you crawled into his arms.
The two of you held each other close as you sat by the fire. It definitely helped significantly. Poe was much warmer than you. And he seemed to not be shivering as much as well.
After a while you let the warmth of Poe over take you. You relaxed in his arms and enjoyed the heat of the fire and of him as your eyes grew tired. Later, the darkness overtook you as well, and you fell into a deep sleep, still in Poe's arms.

You woke up to the bright moonlight shining in your eyes. The rain had stopped but I was still cold. Poe's arms were still around you, but it didn't matter. You chattered your teeth and shivered.
"Poe?" You breathed out. His eyes fluttered open and he stared down at you, his eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.
"What-"
"Poe my legs are numb." Poe sat up still holding you in his arms.
"Shit." He stood up and grabbed your hands, pulling you up. You fell and he caught you.
"Y/N, you gotta stand."
"I can't, I can't." You sunk to your knees, Poe still holding onto your forearms.
"I can't feel them."
"Ok, ok, we'll take it slow." He hoisted you up and you wrapped your arms around his neck. "Can you try to move them?" You tried to lift one leg, but it didn't move. You shook your head and bit your lip.
"Ok, try shifting weight onto one leg." You leaned over, and immediately the leg gave out. Poe caught you again.
"Ok, try-"
"Poe, you're driving me crazy. I can't move them." Poe sighed and nodded. Slowly, he set you in the ground, your legs sprawled out in front of you.
"We just need to get the blood flowing so... can I?" he gestured to your legs. You nodded and rested back on your elbows. Poe started to slowly bend your legs, trying to get the blood flowing again. You could start to feel tingles in your legs the more he moved them.
"It's getting better." You said quietly. Poe nodded, but continued. You watched his concentrated face as he worked to help you.
In all reality, Poe was just worried about you. The panicked look on your face scared him to death. He didn't want you to get hurt. Despite the relationship you two had, he cared for you. He was in a trance, working to make you feel better. He broke out of it though when you put your hands lightly on his shoulders.
"You can stop, Poe." Poe looked up at you with wide eyes.
"I-" his voice caught in his throat and he couldn't finish what he was saying.
"Are you ok?" You asked him, trying to search his eyes. He nodded and stood up.
"I'm gonna check on BB-8," he mumbled and left. You sat there for a moment thinking about what had happened. The way Poe looked so intent on helping you. It was strange. You thought you hated him but... something changed.
