Extra: The Music Box

Ace: Everyone! Hold your position!

Rainz: It's quite difficult to stay still when you have guns aimed directly at your face.

Ace: Trust me. They won't fire unless their Emperor gives the command.

Notex: Then that must mean if we kill him, they will no longer attack us!

Ace: That...might not be true. But good theory.

The Aeterna Guards kept advancing on them, weapons drawn. Some held firearms while others held spears and javelins. SMG3 sat sneering in his throne, waiting for the attack to commence. He then sat up and snarled to the guards.

SMG3: What are you waiting for!? Attack!!

The guards started advancing and Desti was first to react as she put an arrow from her crossbow between the eyes of a guard. They fell face-first to the ground as others surged past his dead body. Notex and Rainz summoned their weapons and began slashing at anyone who came within arms reach of them. Ace noticed two guards starting to corner Desti and he started running as fast as he could to stop them. He was caught off guard as another one stopped him in his tracks.

Ace: Oh come on! Move it!

He points the barrel of his rifle at the guard and pulls the trigger. The bullet ripped through his armor and out the other end of the guard, miraculously hitting another one not far, bringing him down too. Ace ran over and grabbed the downed soldier's weapon and began firing into the crowd, making sure not to hit any of his allies. He turned right, then left, then right again, spraying bullets at every moving thing wearing the white and silver suits. While he was firing, a guard had snuck up behind him and Ace felt a gunshot really close to him and he froze. He slowly turned around to see a guard with his gun up falling to the ground, Notex standing behind him with a pistol.

Notex: You're welcome.

Ace: Thanks, Notex.

Both Notex and Ace stood back to back as they continued firing upon the guards that just kept coming. A clicking sound started coming from Ace's gun.

Ace: I'm out! Cover me!

Desti: You got it!

Desti knelt in front of Ace, shooting into the crowd with an automatic rifle, tearing them to shreds.

SMG3: This isn't working anymore...Use your guns! Kill them!!

Gunshots immediately started ringing all over the room as guards pulled out their firearms and began firing at the four. Desti cowered low on the ground as a guard came right up to her, pointing his gun.

Aeterna Guard: End of the line-

Ace: Ah ah.

The guard slowly turned to face Ace, who had a pistol on the side of the guards neck.

Ace: End of the line...for you my friend.

He pulls the trigger and a small amount of blood comes from the suit and spatters the ground.

Desti: Jeez. A little violent, don't you think?

Ace: He didn't feel a thing.

They both turn to see both Rainz and Notex now fighting together with their weapons. Notex held two shining blades each about the size of a small machete, and Rainz with a long spear, decorated with emblems and sigils.

Rainz: You ready?

Notex: Ready.

They both turn towards one another and clash their weapons together, sending a massive shockwave throughout the room. Everyone, including Ace and Desti were knocked over. SMG3 fell from his throne and every guard that was still alive was now on the ground.
