"Brother! Look what I found!"
Idia looked away from his computer, only to see Ortho holding a decorated skull.
A smile appeared on the dorm leader's lips.
He recognised the device from the previous year's Halloween event. He remembered his concern when some students came up with the idea of having such vibrant colours associated with the dead. He tried everything he could to change their idea or at least stay out of it, but to no use.
He didn't expect it to turn out so well though. The sight of the device floating in the dark, piercing the darkness with colourful beams of light, activating the other devices, disguised as skeletons, transforming the unused dorm into the perfect haunted mansion.
The astonished faces of the other students were priceless too. Just at the tought, Idia's smile turned into a grin.
"We could use something similar this year too, don't you think?"
