#31 ~ Party

It was the last night of Halloween Week. Jack-o-lanterns floated above the ballroom and all around the chandelier. The room was filled with cheer, students from all dorms gathered, wearing their costumes.

Yuu was there as well, along with Grim, chatting with Ace, Deuce and Jack, until a familiar figure caught his eye. He excused himself before disappearing among the crowd, heading towards the back of the room.

"Tsunotarou!" he waved. 

Only when he came close to him the other boy turned around. A soft smile appeared on his lips. 

"Oh? Where you looking for me?"  

"That human sure has some nerve to bother Young Master like this" his eyebrows furrowed, glaring at the newcomer. As he spoke, he made a few steps towards the two before a hand grabbed him by the sleeve.

"Let them talk, Sebek. Malleus has all the right to make some new friends, right?" Lilia's lips were curled into a grin. Reluctantly, Sebek stepped back, still glaring at the other freshman.

The lights of the candles went low, colourful beams spreading from the stage instead. The first notes of the electric guitar echoed in the room, intertwining with the beat of the drums, leaving the ballroom in a wave of cheers.

"Sorry, I can't hear you!"

"I said: WHERE IS YUU?"

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCREAM IN MY EAR!"

"Guys, look! Over there!" Jack put his hands on both Ace's and Deuce's shoulders, stopping their quarrel.

Ace's eyes widened in surprise "Wait a minute! Is that... ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

"Hey, that is the weird guy who strolls around our dorm at night!"

In the back of the room, the prefect was dancing and singing along. With his support, the fae prince awkwardly tried to imitate his movements, wide smiles painted on both their faces.
