Kyrin

"This is giving me our first date vibes..." I mumbled as we road. We'd been riding for a while and Janet had yet to even remotely hint on where we were going. I looked down at the flowers. "Matter fact, let me count the roses."

She chuckled. "Ky, the flowers are just flowers this time and this might top our first date by a landslide."

"Okay... so tell me more." I suggested trying to get her to simply hint at anything.

Janet looked at me before changing subjects. "How was your day? Other than what just happened?"

"It was good..." I trailed off as I squinted my eyes. "You're not slick but I'm going to let you make it. My day was good, I didn't have any bookings so I stayed home with the babies and Landon. Jayden crawled to me finally. Meanwhile Liv is grabbing on to things and standing. We have to watch her more now because she can't keep her balance for long and she always falls backwards for some reason. Other than that, I was just relaxing. What about you? How was your day?"

"I took Eissa on a mother son date earlier today."

I smiled at her. "He told me you two were going yesterday. He called me all excited. How'd it go?"

"Good. A bit sore from the paintballs but it was fun."

"That's good and really? The paintballs hurt that bad?"

"Do they? I almost cried the first time I got hit but after a while you get used to it. Look one hit my arm." She showed me her arm and my eyes widened from the bruise.

"Dang. Let me take that off of the bucket list."

"Paint-balling made the list? Enlighten me, what else is on the list now?"

I thought it over before answering. "You took me on a hot air balloon and for some reason that was on the list even though I was scared shitless. I've never been on a cruise. I want to sky dive. I've never been to Paris and I would really like to go. Oh or see the Northern Lights. And I've never slept under the stars. Like just fell asleep under the moonlight. I want to do that too. What about you?"

"I want to swim under a waterfall. I've never made a scrap book and for some reason, I really want to. And I want to climb a mountain one day. Maybe not to the top but I at least want to hike or climb a mountain. I think that's about it."

"You had me in the first half. I'm not even going to lie but climbing or hiking up a mountain? You'd have to carry me back down because I wouldn't be able to make it all the way up and then still have to come down."

She chuckled. "I'm surprised you'd even climb it with me. You hate heights."

"You're right... well I'll be waiting at the bottom."

"Mhm.. see that's more like it. Stuff has changed in six months, but you climbing a mountain and being terrified of heights? That will never change."

I laughed. "True. You've given great points."

My phone buzzed and I looked down to see that Josh had texted. Turning my screen back off, I sat my phone to the side and looked out of the window to try and see where we were going.

"That was her?"

Janets tone was light and I looked over at her before shaking my head. Picking my phone back up, I showed her the Lock Screen. "No, just Josh. He's been updating me on school mess everyday on his lunch breaks and after he gets off. He said if he keeps me updated on the tea that whenever I decide to go back to education I'll be caught up to speed."
