Fairytale.

Hannahs Pov-
I sit back against the wall whilst everyone exits the assembly. I take deep breathes and hold back the tears pricking my eyes.
" hannah? "
I look up to see kyle or josh staring at me I can never tell the difference between them, and I'd just broke my glasses with anger so that didn't help much either.
" it's josh " josh laughed clearly reading my expression.
He sits down next to me and picks up my broken glasses.
" what happened here? " he giggled collecting the pieces of shattered glass from the floor.
" I think me and Nicky broke up " I whisper still staring at the floor.
" how come? " Josh asks edging closer to me.
" we got into a fight about colleges "
I shrug.
" oh yeah, I noticed he wasn't selected for HayDock, he deserved to go there "
" he didn't apply "
" oh I thought he did "
" me too " I say choking on my words.
" sorry " josh whispers.
" it's not your fault josh "
" I know, I just feel bad that's all "
" don't worry about it, I don't want to let him spoil your day too "
" he shouldn't spoil yours either hannah, come on everyone's going for drinks let's go " josh smiles.
I smile and we go to meet everyone at the graduation party.
" hey hannah you okay? " Sian asks sympathetically.
" yeah I'll tell you later " I smile.
" Weres Nicky? " she asks.
" he couldn't make it " josh interrupts my stuttering.
" oh ok " sian smiles.
" thanks " I whisper to josh.
" no problem I got your back " he smiles.
The music starts playing and i recognise the song instantly. can we dance by the vamps.
" omg I love this song! " I shout.
" let's dance " josh laughs grabbing my hand.
" josh I can hardly see " I giggle.
" trust me " he smiles.
I take hold of his hand whilst he leads me to the dance floor.
" Nicky was suppose to be my first dance, but yet again he's always full of broken promises "
" well think of me as your Nicky for tonight, but a better looking version " josh winks.
" I don't need to, you impress me by being josh brooks " I giggle.
" I impress you? " josh smirks.
" hey don't take it as a compliment "
" fair enough " josh laughs.
Josh spins me around and we dance for an hour before we both agree it's time for a break.
Nicky didn't turn up, I guess he's moved on already..
But I guess this night hasn't been so bad after all.

Nickys Pov-
After my argument with Hannah I felt extremely guilty for some of the things I said.
I instantly regretted the words that left my mouth when she stared up at me with tears in her eyes.
Just go and meet her at the party and explain I told myself.
But the truth is that it would be an embarrassment if I showed up begging for her forgiveness.
But i had to try!
I began walking up to the venue, I knew were it was because Hannah hadn't shut up about it all week, i miss her already..
I head through the doors and onto the crowded party floor, I see Erin so I immediately run over to her.
" have you seen hannah? "
I ask.
" yeah she's dancing over there " erin says pointing to the couples section of the dance floor.
Why was she there?
Who was she dancing with?
I push my way through the crowd in search for her.
This was her favourite song of course she would be dancing to it.
The spotlight shines down so I follow its luminous glow, to see hannah,
My hannah,
Dancing with josh brooks.
I had an unbearable pain in my chest, how could he make her smile like that, laugh like that, in such little time knowing her?
The way she looked up at him, the way he smiled down at her was something me and her had never done..
I stood motionless watching the one true girl I love dance the night away with another guy.
Ive been replaced.
But I deserved it.
I ruined my own fairytale.
