Hi and welcome to Silence! This is based pretty strongly off of a silent voice, but somewhere in chapter two and on it kinda strays from the plot and goes all over the place.

Silent Night
How it works:
You're able to make any living thing you can hear deaf that's within a certain vicinity of you
Your quirk has a larger range and lasts longer the darker it is
Quirk Drawbacks:
Every time you use your quirk, it takes a percentage of your hearing based on how long you use it. You would need to use it for several days to go completely deaf.

You were born almost completely deaf, only able to hear very muffled sounds. When your quirk developed you had accidentally caused both your parents to go deaf. Since you had your parents under your quirk for a few minutes without realizing you accidentally lost the small amount of hearing you had.
After going to the doctors to see if your hearing could be fixed in any way, it was explained that your quirk worked so there was no way to get your hearing back. Up until the present time there are doctors reaching out about your case, only to come up with failed attempts.

When I post this book its going to be almost completely unedited, after the whole thing is done and posted it'll be edited and parts will probably be rewritten. I'm sorry if there are any dumb spelling or grammar mistakes!
