Chapter 4.3- Lost
You avoided Bakugo like the plague, how could you face him after almost killing him. The days passed quick, blurring as you made your way through the short amount of days until you were off to university. A school for the deaf, it was a full day trip away from Mutsufatsu and far from him. It was far from the man you loved, but maybe it was better that way. Nobody dared ask Bakugo about you or his injury, Kirishima made that mistake, the blonde blew up the outburst almost destroying their friendship. He needed space. The days to his graduation came fast, and he was alone, blocking out his friends and only thinking of you. You ran from him, we're you mad that he saved you? He wondered that every day. Some days he'd find himself wandering to the community center bridge. The place where he fell in love for the first time.
On the day you both graduated he stared at his phone, he looked at the texts you sent, the pictures you took. Suddenly he was crying. He felt like when you left, you took his will to live with you. You were the one who showed him that there were things to live for, yet you were struggling like him. Why couldn't he see it? Why couldn't he see that you were hurting? Why didn't he try to help? The guilt was back, stronger than ever, but he was going to live. He was going to live in hopes of seeing you again.
