Chapter 1.1-
New Girl

Bakugo and his two friends were known as... troublemakers to be blunt. Fresh out of primary school, the two were ready to rule their junior high,
and thank god the main target of their teasing was in the same class.
They got through half the year, dominating their class easily, making everyone else feel inferior.
"Oi oi, Fingers!" Bakugo grumbles to his friend who sat in front of him, the smell of smoke wafting off of him. Bakugo had forgotten the names of his friends a long time ago, only calling them by their nicknames taking a toll on his memory.
"Hm?" His laid back friend questioned. Bakugo called the boy fingers because of his hands, which contained extended stick like fingers.
"Just know you can smell the smoke on you from a mile away" Bakugo snickers. His friend pales, not realizing that after his long shower that morning he still smelled like the smoke from the cigarette he had yesterday.
"Hahhhhh you forgot to wash your jacket!" Bakugo's other friend cackled. The boy was plain looking, black hair, forgettable face earning him the loveable nickname of "#1 Extra".
The three begin playfully bickering, drowned out by the sound of his chattering classmates, only for everything to become silent when the door is thrown open and their teacher walks in. At the sight of the man all the children rush to their seats, quieting down awaiting the words of their teacher. The only different thing was the sight of a small girl shuffling in after him. The class filled with silent whispers wondering who the (h/c) haired girl was.
"She's kinda cute ey Bakugo?" Fingers whispers to him softly bumping his elbow into the blondes desk.
"Who cares" Bakugo grunts. Bakugo cared, for some reason at the sight of her his heart sped up and his stomach did somersaults.
"We have a new student." Their teacher states quieting the class down, "introduce yourself." He says to the girl, only for her to stay staring, smiling at the class. The teacher seems to realize a mistake before tapping the girl on the shoulder.
The girl jumps at the contact before taking her backpack out. The sets the small bag on the floor and digs for what she needs, pulling out a (f/c) notebook. She quickly flips through the pages before holding it up to reveal neat writing across the page.

Hi, my name is (y/n)(l/n)
It's very nice to meet you all!

Bakugo was confused, as was the rest of the class, wondering why the sweet looking girl wouldn't talk as she hastily flips the page.

If you would like to talk,
please write in this notebook
here

As the class read what she wrote, she softly tapped her finger on the notebook, a soft drumming sound seeming like one of Bakugo's explosions. The next words revealed surprised the entire class, the sound of whispers filling the classroom.

I can't hear

Bakugo would have never expected this to happen on a Monday morning.
"Today will be a free day so everyone can get aquatinted with (y/n)" the teacher explains before quietly writing in the girls notebook. She read what was written before beaming and looking around the class. That's when her eyes zeroed in on Bakugo, rather the empty seat in front of him. She practically skips over before plopping herself down onto the seat. Next thing the blonde boy knew, people were crowding around them all reaching to talk to the girl.
"What... is... your... quirk?" The voice of the green haired nuisance says as he writes. Bakugo scoffs at the question, of course that nerd would ask that.
The girl seems to tense at the question but complies and writes an answer.
"I can't use it anymore, but it's called Silent Night" Deku reads aloud earning murmurs from the class.
"Tch. Just another weak ass exta" Bakugo murmurs, but due to the amount of people near him, and his not so quiet voice it was heard by everyone except for her.
"Kacchan you can't be mean to her, you haven't even spoken to her." Deku quietly says. He knew it was a mistake as soon as he saw the fire ignite in the blondes eyes.
The girl didn't understand what was happening, but because they were looking at the boy behind her she tried to use her context clues. She turned and with a smile on her face she waved at the boy, placing the notebook on his desk.
That's all it took to make the small amount of feelings disappear and for Bakugo to hate her.
