Chapter 1.4- Isolation
At the beginning of this second year of junior high it was spread that the boy was a bully. People started staying away, and I didn't help that all his sadness, regret and guilt only translated into anger. His only response to people being screaming, his only response to the rumors being to become them. His third year he was completely alone, even Deku avoided him. Even the boy who wouldn't give up on him, finally gave up. That year he decided to keep people away, seeming that being friends with him only brought pain to others. Being around him only brought pain to others. That's the first time he thought about killing himself. That's the first time he'd thought through his own... whatever had become of his mental health. His third year of junior high is also when his quirk started taking a toll on him, his hearing quickly deteriorating due to the loud blasts from his quirk, now he was the one in hearing aids, not able to hear as much as he used to be able to
In his first year at UA, his hearing was worse. People forced their way to him, he was thankful but worried, worried that it would happen again, masking his worry with overconfidence. The thing with Deku only adding confusion, and when he saw it in action he realized that Deku was finally better than him. That's when he decided that at some point he was going to die, but he wanted to fix things before he did. He got a job late in his first year, working at night and on the weekends, going to bed at 8:30 and waking up at midnight and working until 5 and then working all day on the weekends. Anything to get that money back to his mother. In his second year he made ammends with Deku, explaining why he left the boy behind, explaining that he felt bad for hurting the other girl. He even explained his current condition to the green haired boy, explained that he was told that he'd go deaf before he reached the age of 20. The two got along, Bakugo keeping his walls up and Deku understanding. Suddenly after that it was only Deku and Kirishima he saw as close. This year, his third year, him and Deku planned to go see the girl. (Y/n) (L/n) the girl whose life he'd ruined, the girl who'll probably smack him in the face and tell him to go away. The girl who will probably laugh at the hearing aids he now wears, laugh at how he can barely hear anymore. Laugh at how if he doesn't have his hearing aids people have to scream to get even a response out of him. Laugh at the fact that he had learned sign language as soon as it was announced that she'd left his junior high. She was going to tear him to pieces and he wasn't ready. That's why he'd decided that it would be after school that day. That day that he would end it all.
