Chapter Forty-Seven 🦊 Insatiable 🦊
Blake groaned as she turned the corner. She could hear all the voices and screams of the people who died in the tunnels of oak creek. She could see the trapped spirits in the corner of her eye every minute. She felt like she could lose her mind in this place, she can't even begin to imagine what Lydia must feel.
Blake groaned in pain as she covered her ears, leaning her head against the stone wall. Feeling a presence next to her, Blake's head shot up to see a kind looking japanese woman standing next to her. She was obviously one of the Japanese-Americans that was trapped here during World War II.
"I'm sorry." She said in a slight whisper, "You and your friend. I know you're hearing our suffering. I'm sorry." She said and Blake shook her head. "It's not your fault. What's your name?" Blake asked, this was something she did to any spirit she encountered. She talked to them as if they were still alive, engaged a conversation. God knows how long it's been since they've had a normal conversation with someone..
"My name is Rinko." The woman said with a small smile, "I was friends with Noshiko." She said. Blake almost forgot how Kira's mom was like nine-hundred years older. "Do you know where she is? My friend? I need to find her?" Blake asked and Rinko was about to answer but something behind Blake caught her eye making her look terrified before disappearing.
Blake spun around to see Void standing there looking at her with a smirk but also a bit of amazement. "It always fascinates me, Little Dove. The magic of a necromancer." Void says as he starts walking forward making her start walking back. "You can congure up a spirit without even trying and every spirit loves you."
"Where is she?" Blake asked in a demanding tone and he just cocked his head a little, still wearing his signature sinister smirk. "Lydia? She somewhere, hearing the same thing you're hearing. Except you're used to this, she isn't. She's losing her mind quicker than you are." He taunted.
Her back ended up hitting a wall and he waisted no time surging forward, pressing his hands against the wall on either side of her head. "I bet Stiles and Scott are probably freaking out right now. Worried about you and Lydia. Which reminds me, do you know what happened in Eichen House?" Void asked as he ran his finger down Blake's cheek making her move her head away.
"Stiles found Malia there. And oh did they grow close." Void chuckled while Blake sucked in a deep breath, "I bet it sucks. Hear the guy you still really like move on from you." He taunted. Blake closed her eyes, taking a deep breath while clenching her fists.
"You know Little Dove, you're so much more powerful than you think you are. I knew you were powerful before but then I saw the Oni listen to you and you having a conversation with that spirit. You're the power I need." He said before grabbing her arm and digging his nails into her arm making her groan out in pain.
