Chapter Forty-Five 🦊 The Fox and The Wolf 🦊
Parrish looked up when he heard someone walk up to his desk to see Blake standing there with a sheepish smile. "Let me guess, you want me to try to let you in to see your brother?" He asked and she pursed her lips, "Am I that readable?" She asked and he nodded. "You know I'm not allowed you let you back there. Especially when they're wanted for murder."
"I was hoping you let it slide this one time?" She said in a slight questioning tone and he just raised his eyebrows, "You know Blake, just because I'm new here doesn't mean I'll be as easy on you as the rest of the guys are." He said and she scoffed, "They're only easy on me cause they're scared of me." She said, shrugging and he just gave her a look.
"I can't let you back there." He said and she groaned, "Just this once?" She asked and he shook his head making her purse her lips in thought. "If I guilt trip you will you let me back there?" She asked and he raised his eyebrows, "Do you really think I'm that gullible?" He asked and she sighed. "I guess not. But wouldn't it be a lot better if you just let me go back there instead of me sneaking back there?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, I cant let you back there. You can wait until later when they get out." He said and she groaned, dramatically dropping her head down on the desks. "Can't a teenage girl whose having a mental breakdown just see her older brother?" She mumbled and he sighed. "Fine, I'll give you five minutes. And no more then that." He said making her head shoot up, looking at him with a wide smile.
He sighed and stood up, leading her back to the holding cells. "Remember, only five minutes." He said as he opened the door. She nodded before walking in as he shut the door behind her.
"So, how's jail going?" Blake asked, resting her arms on the bars in, "We're getting out today." Derek said and she shrugged. "I know. I'm just enjoying this, I didn't get to see you behind bars the first time this happened. And it's also really funny to see a Hale and an Argent in jail together." She joked making both Derek and Argent roll their eyes.
"I also think it's funny how Stiles got you arrested for murder twice." She chuckled then sighed sadly, looking down at the ground, "Speaking of Stiles, he got out of Eichen House. And according to what Kira texted me a few minuets ago, he's back to being Void." She said and they sighed.
They were about say something but the door opened and Parrish walked in, "You know Blake, don't expect me to break the rules for you all the time." He said standing next to her. "You know Deputy, something tells me it's probably gonna happen again." She said and he gave her a look making her smile. He unlocked the door to Derek's cell then unlocked Argent's, "Follow me." He said.
