Dream Come True

After my performance, I changed back to my dress. After a few more performances, BTS performed their nominated song, and it was PERFECT! I was totally lost in their performance. I loved it. Then came the award announcement of The Best Artist( debut). I wasn't nervous to be honest. Like I said before, I was already happy because I got a chance to be nominated to such an auspicious award and also to get a chance to meet BTS and even collab with them! What more could I ask. I wasn't that greedy. But it looked like it was the best night I could ask for! I WON THE FREAKING AWARD!!
I was truly shocked. I walked towards the podium. There was Nicki Minaj waiting for me to give the award. She was really pretty in person you know! I thanked her, she smiled at me. Then came the scary part. I had to give a speech. I hadn't prepared one because quite honestly, I never thought I would win! My manager gave me a speech to learn but I never did because the rest of the nominees were too good. At least that's what I thought. 🤷‍♀️
But right now I just had to deliver a speech. I went to the mic. And sad, ' Umm.. I'm sorry, but I didn't prepare a speech, cause I never thought I would win this award. ' I said nervously. But, to my surprise, everyone found that pretty funny. I was glad. Then I continued, ' actually.. I don't think I should take the credit for this award. I didn't do anything to deserve this award. All the credit goes to the people who helped me become who I am right now. My family, my loved ones, people who put their trust on me, and my sweet sister whom I love soo much, because she was always there to encourage me to do what I want to become. And also, my idols, the people who inspired me to Love myself, and helped me when I was in bad state, when I had no one to talk about my inner depression, their music made me smile, feel better, and also to keep going. Thank you so much. I would like to send a message to everyone who is watching this, that, when even in the darkest of times, you shouldn't lose hope on yourself. Don't be scared of anyone; cause once you are scared of someone, that's all you will do. Throughout your life. Respect people. Respect yourself too. And as my idols always say, Love Yourself people; cause only you will be there for you, always. Trust me,because I've gone through this. A lot lot of times to be exact. So, Thank you'
I was surprised when I saw people stand up and applaud for my speech, because I thought it was quite basic. I teared up a bit to be honest. But since I don't want to admit it, I would say I didn't tear up😇.
While walking back to my seat, I saw RM looking at me with his eyes welling up with tears. He looked like a proud dad, who's daughter won a prize for a competition. I smiled at him with the same expression he had. My tears were welling up, but I blinked quickly so as to dry up my eyes. I sat down as quickly as possible. I don't think the rest of the members understood what I said, because their expression was pretty casual. Maybe he didn't translate it to them. I was way too lost in my thoughts. I came back to reality when I heard Taylor Swift say, "BTS"!!!.
