The Date

The next day, Criss got up early. She did her morning routines, and headed downstairs. There was no one there, because the boys got up a little bit more late. She went to the kitchen, and poured some cereals and milk into a bowl, and started eating it. After taming her hunger, she went up to her room, and changed to the usual dress she wore whenever she practised dance.

Even she doesn't know why, but whenever she practised dance she mostly wore black. And tops with thumb holes too. After getting ready, she she went to the boys' s rooms, and woke them up. V and Kookie were sleeping together, and they looked like babies while sleeping. She smiled at them, and slowly kissed their foreheads. They squirmed in their sleep, but didn't wake up. Then she slowly shook them, and after a few minutes, they woke up. After waking up everybody, she went upstairs were the dance studio is. There she was just looking outside, and that's when she remembered about the date, and what Hobi said to her. She was helpless in this case, but she wanted to do something for hobi. She took out her phone, and called Linda, her manager, whether everything for the date was ready. She assured her that everything was ready, and the date was fixed by 5 in the evening. Then she texted Akshaya about the date, and told her not to forget about it. There was no reply, so she assumed she must be busy. After sometime, the choreographer arrived, and so did the boys. Thought the practise, Hobi was not able to concentrate on the dance moves. He made mistakes often, and made everyone feel worried, because hobi never does any choreography wrong! Usually he will be the first one to learn it! So, Criss asked for a 5 minute break, so that they can catch a breath, and pulled hobi towards the corner of the room. 'Hey, are you alright. What's happening? ' she asked in a soothing, but worried voice. She couldn't help, but worry. She had never seen him like this. ' I don't know what's happening. I mean, I keep on thinking about them, and I just can't concentrate on this! ' he said, sounding helpless. 'Hobi, I can understand what you are feeling. Trust me! And I do know you will get over it. But, if you keep on doing this, you're making it too obvious for others to understand that something is wrong . We don't want them to worry right... ' she said, caressing his cheeks. He smiled, and shook his head. She smiled back, and said, 'I love you hobi. You are such a good soul. I'm sure, whoever gets to be your partner, they will be so lucky. You have a lot of time. You are still young. Age doesn't describe a person's character. It doesn't describe how old you are. It is all, but a stupid number. Ok. So, don't worry about anything. Worried hobi doesn't look good. ' she said with a smile. He smiled back, and hugged her. 'Thank you Haenbog- ahh!! ' he said cheerfully. She didn't understand what he called her. She was about to ask him, but then Jin called them, since they were resuming their practise. They practised for another 2 hours, and after that, the choreographer left. After returning from practise, they went to their rooms, to get fresh, and to change into something that's not sweaty. She took a wash, and since it was almost winter, she wore something warm



While she was folding her blanket, she hearts someone getting inside her room. She turned around, and saw Yoongi walking towards her. 'Hey bud! Did you take a wash? ' she asked him, still folding her blanket. He nodded in response, and said, 'sometimes I feel like you are the eldest one among us! ' they both chuckles hearing that. 'Maybe I'm not older than you guys in age, but I am surely older than you guys in maturity. ' she shrugged. He nodded in agreement. 'Hey, I forgot to tell you. I called my manager, and she said that everything for your date has been arranged. ' she said excitedly. His eyes widened, and he asked, 'Oh! Today was the date right! Thought it was tomorrow! I can't believe I forgot! ' he said, with wide eyes. Cross looked at him in disbelief. 'What do you mean you forgot. We just made up this plan yesterday, and you already forgot! Wow! I can't believe you right now! How are you gonna have a successful relationship if you forget stuff so fast? ' she asked, scolding him. He lowered his head, and didn't reply. 'Actually, I came here to tell you, that I don't think I want to go for the date... ' he said softly. 'What! What do you mean? ' she asked shocked. 'I mean, it was just a sudden attraction, I don't think I have that kind of a feeling towards her. And also, I suck at relationships. So there's that..! ' he trailer off. She didn't know what was happening right now. 'Ok, so now you are telling me, that you don't wanna date her? What made you think otherwise? ' she asked confused. ' Realisation takes time kiddo. And I think Hobi likes her too. He's never said this to me, or rest of us, but I can see it. At Least we've been together for so long right! So I know him. And something is bothering him. ' he said, thinking hard, what was wrong with Hobi. 'Actually, I think I know what is wrong with him. Yesterday, he came to me, and said that, he likes Akshaya too, but he didn't say it, nor did he show it, because if he does that, you might feel betrayed. So he just told it to me, and I promised him I'll keep it to myself. I said it to you, because even you felt like that. ' she said, nervously. She had promised Hobi, she wouldn't say it to anyone. But now she broke her promise. But it was for a good cause. Yoongi smiled, and patted her head. 'I knew it already, so it's not your fault. ' he consoled her. She smiled at him, and said, 'I think you guys have to talk about it. Privately. ' ' I think you are right. We'll tell the boys later. Not now, later. ' he said, and was about to leave. 'Hey, Yoongi- ah! Do you know what it means by Haenbog? ' she asked confused. 'Yeah, it means happiness. It is also a pet name we call babies. Like Haenbog-ah, or haenbog -ii, and like that.. Why? ' he asked confused. 'Well, hobi called me that earlier. I didn't understand what he meant. I thought it meant thank you or something like that! ' she answered, smiling. Yoongi smiled back, and said, 'now onwards, then that's your pet name. Haenbog! We'll calm you that. You knew, calling you Criss was actually a little formal. But this, just sounds so right. Our baby! ' he smiled widely, and pressed a kiss on her forehead. After that, he walked out,towards the dining, and Criss called her manager, and cancelled the date. She didn't know what to say to Akshaya. So, she said that yoongi was busy today, , but she wanted to talk to her about something. She said the same place and time. Akshaya send her a thumbs up👍. She knew Akshaya would be confused by now. So, she just wanted to tell her what was happening.
She went downstairs, and saw the boys doing random stuff. Tae was on his phone, Yoongi, Him in and JK were with Brook, Jin was helping the chef, RM and Hobi were watching TV. She sat on the couch, and layed her head on RM' s lap. He stroked her head, and after sometime, the food was ready. They enjoyed the food together, and talked about things like, album, choreography, family etcetera. After having food, they
sat by the couch and started watching a new movie. Criss was still feeling a little uneasy. She didn't know what was the exact reason. But, she wasn't feeling that good, mentally. 'Guys, I'm feeling like my abs are disappearing, I'm gonna work out. I'll be at the gym.' She stood up. 'I didn't know you had abs! ' Yoongi said with wide eyes. She smirked, and looked at JK. He smiled back. She lifted her shirt, to show them her abs.
