Since then everything was fine. They were planning on another album, and the preperation s were going on, and she was also dealing with her law career, and that was also going smooth, with the help of Akshaya.

Criss was surprised why Akshaya never actually complained of taking care of everything by herself, when they were actually supposed to do everything together.

She was the best friend, everyone should have. And Criss was really thankful for having her.
But guilty eat her up, mostly, and so, she decided to appoint a temporary staff, who would help her in doing the work, Criss was supposed to do, when she was not around.

At first Akshaya didn't agree to it, but when Criss begged her, she agreed at last.
The new staff was pretty good. She knew what she was doing, and also had a very decent behavior. Her name was Kimberly Koi, she was an American - Chinese.

Both Akshaya and Kimberley became friends, and they worked really great together.

As everything was going on, one particular day, while Criss was helping Suga and Rm write the lyrics, she suddenly got a call from her manager Lynda.

'Excuse me guys. I think this is important. Just a sec. ' she asked the boys. They showed a thumbs up, and she went outside to talk.

'Hello, Lynda! What's up? ' she asked, hurrying it up a little, since her mind was still on the job she was doing.

'It's kinda big deal. Director James Wan wants an appointment with you. He's planning on making another Horror movie, and he wants you as the lead. It's a female oriented movie, so you'll be the main hero. I tried to say to him that you are working on the album, but he said he just wanna talk to you, and if you still think you can't do it, then he will look for someone else. '
Lynda said, sounding a bit desperate. Criss rubbed her temples, thinking hard what to do.

'You know what, give him an appointment for tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm kinda free between 1-2 in the noon. Ok? ' she asked.

Lynda noted it down, on her notepad, and she replied an yes.

Criss went back to the studio. She looked stressed out. She thought the boys wouldn't notice it, but they did.
'Umm,.. Are you alright Haenbog-ah? You seem a bit.. stressed all of a sudden. 'Suga asked, looking at her with concern, and so did RM.

She smiled at them, and replied, 'ah! It's nothing guys. Just work and everything. This director, James Wan, you know the director of Conjuring, and Insidious series, he wanna make a movie with me. And he has requested an appointment with me. But, I'm already soo busy with the album, and firm and everything.... I mean, I don't think I'll be able to do all of it altogether you see! But i always wanted to act in a James Wan film, and I don't think I'll get another chance once I turn down this chance. You what I mean? '

She asked, a bit calm, but also stressed out. They nodded, understanding her situation.

'You know, I've been wanting to tell you this for really long, and the boys have also asked this to you already, but, why don't you quit your job at the firm? I mean, I know you love it. But you also love music as well as acting.
It doesn't mean that once you quit from the firm you're not a lawyer anymore! If you want to go back to the firm right!. I mean, it's up to you. I was just.. Saying. Ok? Just think about it. '

Suga said, as Criss was looking at a point in the wall, thinking hard. RM thought that Suga was right. We must lose something for gaining something.
But he didn't say anything, and all three went back to writing the lyrics.

The next day, Criss was waiting for the director to come. She's been a bit nervous since morning, because it was one of the most awaited moments.

When it was around 1:23 they heard the doorbell ring. Criss went to open the door, and she saw Mr James Wan, with his assistant director, at the door.

'Good afternoon Mr Wan, please come in. 'She said, formally, giving them a smile.
They smiled back, and followed her to her office.

They discussed about the story of the movie, and it was a true incident, but it was really scary. Too scary to be true, but that's what James Wan is a specialist in.
She really loved the story, and she was beyond happy to say yes.
'But sir, we have an album coming up. So, I might need some time. You know, at least a few months. ' she said, doubtfully.

He smiled, and said, 'It's ok. I just made this movie thinking about your role. I think you are the perfect one for the role. How much time do you want? ' he asked.

'Umm, 6 months up to the most.. 'She said, a little doubtfully, wondering if he would wait till then.
'Oh! Perfect. We will arrange the rest of the things by then. You don't have to worry. You got this movie. ' he smiled.

After they went back, Criss was beyond happy, since she got the job. The boys were excited as well, seeing her in a horror movie would be exciting.

After they went to bed, she did her night time routines, and slowly walked towards the bed. She was thinking about what Suga had said earlier. About quitting from the firm.

Both Kimberly and Akshaya were doing an amazing job, working together, and they also seemed to pretty good with each other.
She almost made up her mind, and decided to call Akshaya.

It was around 9 in the evening, and since it was still kinda early, she decided to FaceTime Akshaya.

After a few rings, she answered.
'Hey! What's up! Did you get the role? ' she asked excited. Almost as excited as Criss was about the role.
'Yep! I got it. Yay! ' she said, throwing her hands up, and having a little dance. Akshaya followed the dance, and they ended up laughing at each other's silliness.

'Ammus, I actually wanted to talk about something, really serious. ' She said, in a really serious tone.
Akshaya listened to her attentively, since she knew something is up.

'What's it sweetie? Is something troubling you? ' she asked worriedly.
Criss bit her lip, out of nervousness, and said, 'I was thinking maybe I should quit from the firm. You know, I rarely get any time to keep myself available for the music, and the firm, and the acting, and everything. Today, only because he was kind enough, he allowed to move the shooting to 6 months later. Or else, I would have lost the role. And you know how much we both love James Wan 's movies! They are amazing, and the story he told me was also really great.
The boys had been telling me this for, quite a while now. But I always thought I will be able to do it. But, now I realise that there are stuff out there that I can't do.. ' she went on babbling about it, and Akshaya stopped her.

'Hey, it's ok. I get it. I can understand. And to be honest, I always wanted to tell you the same. Like, I'm not blind! I can see that you are practically struggling to be at both places. I'm happy that you took this decision. I didn't ask you about it, because I knew how much you love it. And, honestly, I didn't wanna hurt you. I'm just,.. Proud that you took this decision. Well done sweetie! ' she said, smiling happily.

Criss was happy that her friend accepted her decision, because, they both were the owners of the firm, and if the other person doesn't agree on your quitting, then it's gonna be hard.
'Ok, so tomorrow I'll change my position to Kimberly. Ok? ' Criss asked.
Akshaya nodded in agreement, and they talked for a little longer, before going to sleep.
