Awkward

That day went by as usual. The boys picked up their stuff from their hotel, and moved to Criss' s home. It was fun to have them in her home. They were usually so much noise, and it was actually nice. It made house look alive. Everything was going smoothly, the music was developing great, the choreography was almost decided, they were getting used to her home, and as she had told them to consider it as their own, they had started to consider it as their own. There was only one problem. Yoongi! He was really awkward towards Akshaya, that it was getting so weird. He used to stutter, and sweat, and to be truthful, it was pretty funny. The boys already knew that Yoongi had a crush on Akshaya, because first, it was obvious, second, they are practically brothers, so they can understand what is going on. But Criss asked them not to say it to him, as he might think she told them. They agreed to it.
On a particular day, when the boys woke up early, and was sitting around the living, and Criss was in her office room in her home, going through some files of case, she had to appear that day. Suddenly the doorbell ringed. 'Can you guys get it? ' she asked from the room. Yoongi walked to the door, and opened it. When he saw who it was, he almost choked on the sandwich he was having. He kept his stare for quite sometime, and now it was getting awkward. 'Umm... Hi. ' Akshaya tried to start a conversation to break the awkwardness. 'Yeah Hi... I'm sorry... I.. Stared... Get in. Good.. M.. Morning.. ' he stuttered. It was so funny, that Tae, Him in, JK, J Hope and RM was laughing silently. They were turning red, because it was hard to contain laughter. Jin was helping the chef, so he didn't notice any of that. Akshaya found all of it really confusing, but she smiled at him, and entered. When she saw the boys, the y greeted her, and she greeted them back. 'Umm.. Guys, where is Criss? We are kinda late for the hearing. ' she said. They pointed towards the office, saying that she was in there. 'Oh, she's in there! Thank you guys. ' she thanked them, and walked towards the office. She knocked at the door, and she heard a 'get in' from inside. 'Criss, we are late! We have to go. Now! ' she said hurriedly. 'Yeah, I'm just packing everything' she said packing the files, and when she turned, she saw Akshaya. 'That outfit looks so pretty on you. It looks really professional, as well as cute. Good job. ' she complimented.

'Not so bad yourself too' she complimented back.



'Well, thank you my dear. So, let's go. Did you have your breakfast? ' she asked while walking out of the office, with Akshaya behind her. 'Yep. What about you? '. 'Yep, I had it ' she replied. Criss was walking with Akshaya beside her, and then they passed the boys. 'Ooh! Criss! You look hot today! ' JK said. 'She turned to him, and gave him a stare. 'Well, thank you sir, for your kind words. Did you guys have breakfast? ' she asked walking towards them, and placing kisses on their foreheads. It was their way to say goodbye to each other. 'Yep, we did. ' they replied. Yoongi was standing there, next to the door, so he could open it for them. 'Don't you think, he is acting really weird? ' J Hope asked in a low voice. 'Doesn't he always act like that around her? ' she asked back, with a small chuckle. They all chuckled hearing this, and they said their goodbyes. On reaching the door, yoongi opened it for them, and Akshaya walked out first. Criss turned around to face yoongi, and you could see clear disappointment in his face. 'Hey, what is it? ' she asked, caressing his cheeks. 'I don't think I will be able to say it to her. And even if I say it, I don't think she will like me back. ' he said disappointed. 'Hey, I can't believe such a great person like you is getting insecure! C'mon, you can do it. Just say it to her, when you feel comfortable. If she say yes or no, don't worry. We can handle it. Together. Ok! ' she smiled at him. He smiled back, and she placed a kiss on his forehead. 'Bye bye. See you later. ' she bid him goodbye, and left with Akshaya.
After winning the case, they were waiting for someone, by the stairs. That's when they had an idea. 'Hey, what do you think about me, adopting a puppy! ' Criss asked her friend excitedly. Dogs were always an exciting topic for both of them. They both loved dogs. Criss grew up with 5-6 dogs in her house, so that only increased her love for dogs. Akshaya was a born Dog lover. They had donated so much money to Animal adoption centres, around the country. It was always a weakness for them. 'You know what, I was also thinking about he same thing. I was also planning on getting a pup. ' Akshaya said, smiling widely. 'Wow, really! Let's go to an animal adoption centre after this ok? ' Criss said, excitedly. 'Yess! ' Akshaya replied excitedly.
After the work, they headed straight to the nearby animal adoption centre. It was pretty clean. They parked their car, and walked inside. 'Hello, young ladies! How may I help you? ' the receptionist asked with a wide smile. 'Oh yes! We were looking for pups, to adopt. ' Criss replied. 'Right this way ma'am' the receptionist led them to a room. There they saw many breeds of puppies in closed nets, running around, and playing with their friends. 'Awww!! ' both the girls exclaimed at the same time. Criss walked towards the Golden Retriever section, the pups were way to cute to ignore. Some of them were sleeping, after being full from drinking milk, and there were some, playing around. At the same time Akshaya went to the Samoyed puppies section. 'How old are these pups? ' Criss asked the lady. 'The pups are 7 weeks old. ' she replied. 'What about these pups? ' Akshaya asked. 'Them too. This is the right time to adopt them. They will easily get friendlier to you. If it is too late, they may take time. But right now is the best time. ' she replied with a smile. We both bought our puppies. Akshaya bought a Samoyed puppy



And Criss bought a Golden retriever pup.



They were both so adorable! Akshaya dropped Criss at her home. She was petting the pup, while walking towards the door. The pup was excited too. Well, at least he looked like he is excited. Then, she opened the door, and there was JK looking at her from the couch. His eyes widened, as he saw the pup. 'Oh my god!!! A puppy!!! ' he almost screamed as he ran towards her and the pup. The pup flinched due to his scream. Criss chuckled seeking a 26 year old getting head over heels for a pup. He came, and carefully took the pup from her hands. He was petting the pup, when suddenly all the boys came towards them, like sharks, sensing a drop of blood! They were petting the pup, and playing with him, while Criss was watching them with a huge smile on her face. 'What are you gonna name him? ' Him in asked her. 'Mm.. I don't know. Do you guys have any names on your mind? ' she asked their opinion. 'What about, Sammy? ' Jimin asked, way too busy playing with the pup. 'Umm.. Let's see. Any other names? ' she asked, clearly not liking Jimin's choice. 'Oh oh! What about, Tommy? ' JK asked excitedly. 'Mm.. Ok, but let's hear other ones too. ' she said not liking that name too. 'Ok guys, what about Brook? ' she asked them. They all nodded clearly liking the name. 'That's a really nice name actually. ' Suga said, while nodding his head. She smiled, and them she saw Brook slowly yawning. 'Oh! I think he is tired from all the playing! Let's get you to bed little guy! ' Tae said, making baby noises, and slowly picking up Brook. Brook slept in his arms, while he was slowly shaking him. It was such a beautiful scene. She sneaked a picture of it. It was so adorable. The day passed by, with the excited boys around Brook.
