The Dream

Over and Done

The first thing in the morning Criss did was check her phone. She was supposed to get a text from her mother, saying whether or not they will visit her.

She had send her a message, saying she missed her, and would love to meet her. And she even replied, saying she will visit her, and the date would be said tomorrow.
But, when she checked her phone, she didn't see any messages from her mother, and she was a bit upset.

'Well, she said she will text today! Not in the morning right! ' she said to herself, and jumped out of bed to do her morning routines.

After finishing up her routines, she headed downstairs, and saw the boys watching TV, and doing some random stuff. She was feeling really hungry, so she decided to have some cereals.

She took out the cereals from the cupboard, and put in a bowl, and added some milk. While she was eating, she remembered that she hadn't still told the boys about quitting from the firm.

'Umm, guys! I'm quitting from the firm! ' she said in a loud voice, so that the boys coul hear her in between the voices from the TV.
They took their eyes from the TV, and looked at her, in shock.

'What! ' the boys asked in unison. She nodded her head, meaning it is true.
'Why all of the sudden? I mean, it's totally up to you, and also we've been saying this to you for so long, but, why all of a sudden? ' Hobi asked, confused.

'Well, I've been actually thinking about it for sometime now, and you know how I always hurry things up, and most times I learn the choreography, just 5 minutes before the the MV. '

She remembered an incident, in which she was dealing with a very important case that particular day, but she also had the MV shoot that day.
She remembered how she almost crashed into another car, while driving to the location of the shoot.
After reaching the location, she was hurried inside the changing room, and everything was done within just half an hour. And when there was just 5 minutes left, she asked Hobi the dance steps, and kinda showed it really fast.
'Hold up hold up dancing machine! I can't catch up with you. 'She complained. Hobi rolled his eyes, and said, 'Haenbog-ah, there is only 5 minutes left for the shoot! '

She realised how much of a hurry was her lifestyle, and that's when she actually considered about what the boys were saying about quitting.

Now back to reality

'So, since I don't wanna hurry into stuff anymore, and I should admit that I love music more than law, I decided to quit! ' she exclaimed, with a satisfied happy smile.
The boys knew she did it because she was happy with her decision, and she wasn't a kid anymore, but she is for them always, but theoretically she isn't, and she knew what was good for her.
They hugged her, knowing she needed their support.

After sometime, she went to the firm, and did all the formalities for her resignation. She met Kimberly, and she seemed a bit sad.
Criss went near her, and held her shoulder. 'Hey, what happened? You don't seem too happy, new CEO of the firm! 'She teased. She gave out a small chuckle, and said, 'We're gonna miss you! 'She said.
'Oh come on! You can practically see me everywhere! ' Criss said, pointing to a billboard, with her picture on it.
Kimberly laughed, as Criss winked at her.
While she was going out, she found all the employees looking at her with a sad expression.
'Guys! Don't do this to me! Don't be so sad. I will always love you guys. You were the best employees anyone could ask for. I'm gonna miss you too. 'She said, giving them a flying kiss. Some of acted to faint, and they all laughed.

When she reached her home, the boys were missing. She wondered where they were, and called them out. Still no reply.
'What the. 'She thought.
She saw the Brook was sleeping in a corner, and she went near him.
'Hey buddy! Where are the others? ' she asked him, hoping for a reply. She knew it was stupid, but she just wanted to know where they were. Brook barked, and ran outside. She followed him outside.
Since her house was near a lake, she had a patio facing the lake.

There they were. Arranging tables and chairs, and, is that a guitar?
'Guys, what are you up to? ' she asked herself, while walking up to the patio.

She walked to the patio, but the boys haven't noticed her yet.

'Hello gorgeous people! What.. Are you doing? ' she asked, with an amused smile on her lips.
They turned to her, and walked up to her. Hobi wrapped his hand around her shoulder, and guided her towards the table. There were so many dishes, and it was all soo pretty.

She picked up one of them, and tasted it. It was delicious.
'Can I ask what the occasion is? ' she asked, while eating in between.

Jin served some more into her plate, and answered, 'Oh, nothing much. Can't we do something sweet for our sister! ' he asked, fake gasping! '
'Oh ok then. I must say, I was pretty tensed when I didn't find you guys in the house. So, Brook helped me out. 'She said, taking him into her lap.
'Yah! He's big now! Put him down. ' Tae said to her.

She raised her eyebrows, and said, 'He's only 6 months old. He's not even 1 yet. And, even if he is 10 yrs old, that's like 80 in dog years, I will still treat him like my baby. Because he is! Dogs are better than humans anyway! ' she said, almost threatening Tae to shut his mouth.

'Well, we were supposed to surprise you, like, after arranging everything, we would have come and called you. But, all thanks to him to spoil the surprise! 'Jimin said, squeezing Brook's cheeks.
'He's loyal to me! Aren't you baby! ' she said, while scratching his stomach.

They were having a wonderful time, sharing thoughts about the upcoming album, to how Criss 's day was .

'Ok, I think I should tell you this now. We actually planned it so that you would forget about today. Like, we know how much sad you are to resign from the firm, that is what it is right now because of your hard work too. So, we just wanted you to enjoy this day, and forget about all that sadness. ' Kookie said, and rest of them had a sad smile.

She smiled at them, clearly happy, thing how sweet her brothers are. 'I should seriously get used to your sweetness. 'She said, happily. They all laughed at what she said. 'Actually I didn't feel so sad, you know! Knowing that it is in good hands, makes me feel at ease. So, I'm not that sad. ' She said, after taking a sip from the drink. She suddenly spit it out. 'Eww! Alcohol! ' she drank some water to wash off the taste.

Everyone laughed at her mishap. She laughed with them too. They had a good time, and the day went on, happy.

But the grass ain't always greener, and some mishaps were about to happen.
