Surprise

'Oh my god Criss! Are you alright? ' Akshaya barged in, and held her face in her hands.
Criss was shocked by the person who was behind her. It was her mamma.
'Mamma? ' she asked, confused.
'Hi baby! How are you? ' she asked, with a worried face.
She didn't reply, and kept on staring at her.
Jin , and Akshaya felt like they were interrupting their family moment, and stood up, ready to leave.

'We'll leave you two to talk. Come on Akshaya. Let's give them some space. '
Jin said, before getting up.

'No! Don't leave. You are my family! Not her. I don't wanna be alone with her for too long. She's way too good at brainwashing, and she would take me back to India, to get settled there. 'She said, really angry.
Both Jin, and Akshaya was taken aback with her harsh words, and also because she remembered all of that. Jin wanted to tell her not to talk her mom like that, but he decided to say that later.

'Please... Don't leave.. ' she begged, her eyes, full of tears.
Jin smiled, and patted her head.
'We're not leaving. We'll be right downstairs. Ok? She's your mother, and she's seeing you after such a long time. Whether you like it or not, you must atleast hear out what she had to say. Alright? Would you do that for us? ' he asked, slowly rubbing her cheeks.
She nodded, and both of them left the room.

She was still eating her salad, and her mom was pacing around the room.

'So, you wanna say something? ' she asked, rudely.
Her mother looked at her, with guilty written all over her face.

But she still had an expressionless face on.
'I know I wasn't there when I was supposed to be there for you, and I do know I messed up. But you don't know how much I missed you! ' she said, teary eyed.

'I don't wanna hear about all that. Tell me why you are here. That's all what I wanna know, and leave! ' she declared.

Her mom broke down right in front of her, and she just sat there, judging her silently.
After her breakdown, her mother went towards the door, and opened it.

'I just wanted to tell you that I divorced your father for good, and I will be there for you from now onwards. '
'What do you mean? ' she asked, confused.

Her mother closed the door, again, and walked towards her bed. She seated herself on the edge of the bed, and said.

'Ok, I'll tell you from the beginning.
It's been almost an year now, that me and your father had been living separately.
Recently we got divorced, only because he trapped me.

He said the court that , I cheated on him, and he also had some fake witnesses. So, the court punished me by saying that I can't go out of town for one whole year. And also, after one year I would get the divorce.

I used to get your emails, and I didn't tell you all these, because I didn't want you to worry about all these, and since you were doing an amazing job, I didn't want you to get involved in all these things.
I didn't say all these to your sister too. But, I don't know how, she found it out. Recently.
I thought she would have told you already, but she said that you would only understand it when I'll explain it myself.

Now I've moved to Forks,Washington, with mummy, since she is alone in her house. Our business is going really well, and we bought a decent house. See, this is the house. '

She showed her the house.

'

Ooh it's pretty cool! ' Criss thought to herself.
Her mother continued,

'Mummy had been telling me to meet with you, and solve everything, so that we could call you to our home. She really loves it in here. She's stitching crochet caps, and mittens, just as a hobby, and selling it. You know she doesn't like to sit idle.
Here is something she stitched.

'It's sooo cute! ' Criss thought to herself.
'It's cute. ' Criss said, with a serious tone.
'She made it for a couple. They had a baby lately. They are our neighbors, so, she gifted this to them.
A small smile appeared on her lips, thinking about her granny. She was soo sweet, that anyone would love her.

'I know you are still mad at me, but for her sake, please visit us if you are free.'

Criss ignored her, and continued eating her food.
Her mom got up, and headed for the door.

Just as she was about to leave, Criss said.
'I'm not mad at you. I try to be, but I always fail. That's why I spoke so harshly. I'm sorry for being rude. ' she apologised.
Her mother came near her, and kissed her head, and said.

'Its ok baby. I would be mad at mother, if she did the same. It's ok. Just, don't ignore us, and visit us whenever you can. Well come to your concerts from now on. I would love to watch you guys perform. And, talking about the band, I never thought I would ever find someone else who would ever love you as much as I myself, and Achu loves you. But these guys,. I mean, they just love you heart and soul. I can see that.
You are lucky to have them, and so are they. '

She said it with a smile, and left.

Criss thought of getting up, but she fell right back, because she was still feeling a bit nauseous.

She had already finished the salad, and she was pretty full.

She decided to sleep for some time. She closed her eyes, and before she knew it, nodded off to sleep.

After almost 5 hours, she got up.
She tried to sit up, and she was happy that she didn't feel nauseous anymore.

She smelled herself, since she could feel herself be soo sticky.
She decided to take a bath, nd she took out one of her most comfortable pair of pyjamas.

After showering, and doing her nightime regimes, she headed downstairs, while carrying the empty tray, in which she ate the salad.

Downstairs she saw that the boys were sitting around the kitchen island, and then there was hoping and Akshaya making out on the couch.

'Eww! ' she thought, when she saw both of them making out.

'I think she's not having much problem with the memory loss. She seems to remember most of the things. She's only forgot recent incidents. I wish her memories would come back as soon as possible. '
Kookie said, while biting into his sandwich.

'Yeah, I too think so. Thank god. But, I'm more happy that she solved all the problems with her mother, and is happy. I'm soo angry with her father, that if I see him, I'll kick his ass! 'Jimin said, angrily, while kicking in the air.

Everyone nodded their heads, agreeing to what he said.

'Oh really! I think I should call him here, so that he can get his ass kicked. ' Criss said, while putting the tray on the washer.
The boys were startled, and they laughed when they heard what she said.
They started talking about random things, and then they heard a bark.
It was Brook, barking at both Hobi and Akshaya.
Even though he was literally barking at their faces, they hadn't stopped making out.

'Oh! Come on boy! Let them eat their faces peacefully. ' Criss called him, and he came running towards her.

'Criss! You up! ' Akshaya asked, startled.
'Yeah. I've been here for quite some time now. It's ok. Continue what you were doing. ' she teased.
Akshaya blushed hard, as she was glaring at her friend.
'Ok. ' Hobi replied to what she said, and pulled her down for more kisses.

'Ewww!! ' the boys and Criss said in unison.
'I just meant to tease them! Didn't really think they would do that! ' she said, while making a disgusted face.

'Actually, I'm used to it by now. ' Jimin said, while bitting into his sandwich. 'Ya, me too. ' yoongi agreed with Jimin.
They talked a bit more, and like that, their day ended with a bit of sadness, and also happiness.
