Hypertensive Crisis

She asked the doctor, nervously. She knew he didn't, because if they knew, they wouldn't be so happy.
'You know I didn't right? But, I can't understand why you don't want to share this with them? Why? ' he asked.

She sighed heavily, and replied.
'I don't want them to worry about me. And since I'm already doing a movie, I don't wanna stop the shooting, just because of me.
As you know, making a movie consists of soo many people's dreams, and hard work. I don't want that to go waste. Mr James wan just waited for me for 6 months already. But, if he know about this, which he will, if the boys know, he would never let me act in such a health condition.
I can't do that to someone.
And there is only some more months left for the shooting. After the movie, I'll tell them. I promise. '

She said, almost begging the doctor not to reveal it to anyone.
The doctor rubbed his temples, frustrated, and agreed to what she said.

'But Criss, you are already on stage 2 of Hypertensive Crisis! This is such a delicate time for your health. I mean, since your immunity isn't that weak, that's the only thing that's keeping you together right now.
You could face depression, or anxiety as a side effect. Don't you think that you, quitting the movie, is more healthier than overworking yourself in such an acute stage? '
He asked, desperately wishing that she would get medical help as soon as possible.

'I know doc. I know it's unhealthy for me. But, it's not always for me is it? All my life, I've always been a little selfish. Because I always felt that I should keep my things first. This is actually the first time I should consider other's feelings too. I'm sorry doc.. But, I can't quit. Not now. '

She said, and she hung up, since she saw the boys returning.
'Oh! Shopping is over? ' she asked, putting on a fake smile.

'Oh yeah! ' Hobi said, as he and Jin were getting the things inside the car.
Jin noticed her smile, and he didn't feel something right. He always knew it when there was something wrong. Call it a 'mother's instict. '

But he didn't ask her, and decided to ask her later.
When everyone came back, Jin sat next to her, and hugged her sideways.
She smiled, and continued looking outside.

'Are you alright baby? ' he asked, almost whispering.
She was a bit shook at first, thinking if she acted different.

Then she quickly put on another fake smile, and replied.
'Positive! ' she said, with a little bit of enthusiasm.

He chuckled, but still felt a bit weird. He didn't ask her, she nce he felt that she would be annoyed if he continuously asked her.

After a while, they reached their home, and they took out the stuff they bought. She decided to help them, and picked up a bag of groceries.
By that time, the boys were inside, and only Brook was there with her.
She felt a sudden fit of dizziness, and also felt as if something was trickling down her nose.

She knew what was happening, since it was one of the side effects.
She slowly placed it down, and wiped the blood out with her handkerchief.

Brook looked at her confused, since he did detect the blood. She slowly smiled at him, and patted his head.
Then she placed a finger on her lips, indicating its a secret.

She slowly took the bag, and walked inside.
The boys didn't notice her, and they were talking , and laughing about random things.

She smiled, seeing them happy, and suddenly thought what would have happened if they knew the truth.
She shook it off, since she can't imagine her brothers sad.

She felt as if her heart was aching a little bit. She furrowed her eyebrows, and slowly, without them noticing went to her room.

She cried her eyes out, as it was really painful. She was careful not to make any noise, so that they wouldn't notice. After a minute, the pain faded, and she breathed in and out heavily. Tears were trickling down her cheeks, as she layed down, clenching her chest.
There was a sudden knock on the door, and she suddenly sat up.
