2. Never Tear Us Apart

-Hitting The Ground-

Morning came and Theo had only gotten around 2 hours of sleep.

The first thing she did was head over to Deanna's house.

Deanna opened the door, Reg behind her and Spencer waiting in the hallway.

"I know when i came back yesterday i was angry, but i didn't consider how that came across to you, i am sorry about Aiden, i really am." Theo apologised

"Thank you, Theo, we appreciate your sympathy, we really do" Reg nodded behind Deanna

"Yes, thank you" Deanna tried to smile.

"But that doesn't change what I said. But I was wondering if i could talk about something else, it might be bad timing, but i think it needs to be said." Theo rubbed her hands together

"Please," Deanna said, letting Theo walk in the house, being watched by the Monroes.

"Nicholas, whether you believe me or not, was a coward, a lot of your people are. Abraham explained to us how he saved a woman because one of the men wouldn't risk it. But that's not who we are, me and my people care about each other, we take risks and do things we aren't comfortable with, for our people, you say that your people are our people to now and i agree, i would put myself on the line to save people here, but i know they wouldn't do the same." Theo admitted making Deanna stop and think, you could tell by the thought in her eyes.

"I don't think you have any right-" Spencer began but Deanna stopped him

"What do you suggest?" Deanna asked. The words of Theo last night had stuck with her all night.

"If it was up to me, we would discuss together some changes, some real changes" Theo looked at Deanna

"Okay, i'll think about it" She nodded before walking away

"Another thing" Theo stopped Deanna. "Noah believed in this place, he truly did, we want to be here, for him, for everyone else we have lost, because we need this place, and you don't know it yet, but you need us too" Theo put sharply but not to be rude, but to make sure she was understood

"Okay. And Theo. Nicholas won't be allowed on runs anymore. He's done" Deanna nodded.

"It's a start"

Deanna said nothing, she just let Theo walk out.

She began walking down the road when smashing of glass and yelling came from Jessie's house.

She ran the corner to see her dad and Pete, the surgeon in Alexandria fly through the window and into the street fighting one another

"Hey!" Theo yelled running over

Other people had an over to the commotion.

Jessie tried to pull off Pete, but only resulted in him hitting her back and out the way.

Rick had managed to get on top of Pete, punching him

"Dad!" Theo tried to stop as Carl ran over only to be pushed onto the floor.

Theo ran to Carl making sure he was alright.

"Rick!" Merle yelled, walking over to help Carl and Theo. 

"Rick!" Deanna yelled as he got off of Pete after knocking him unconscious.

"You still don't get it do you!" Rick yelled, pulling out a gun.

"Dad!" Theo tried to get his attention, she was angry at him, not only had she just talked to Deanna about making changes around her, but she had also just witnessed her father push his own son over, intentional or not, it still happened.
