2. Never Tear Us Apart

20 minutes passed, and it was already dark out; they had just got onto Route 23.

"Hey, can I say somethin that has been on my mind for a while?" Abraham asked Theo, taking a seat beside her as she drove. 

"Sure" Theo nodded, looking at him for a second.

"I never apologised, for my actions and words back at the church" Abraham nodded, Theo looked at him quickly before looking back at the road once again.

"It was in the heat of the moment, I'm sorry too," Theo nodded, and she was.

"Just for the record, i think your a badass, and i believe you and i can be good friends" Abraham smiled, "You would have been good in the military" he complimented.

"Thanks, I never thought about joining the military" She smiled back "Guess we live in a war now anyway right" she laughed as Abraham nodded with a smile.

She continued to drive before something caught her eye.

"Shit hold on!" She yelled as she slammed her foot down, everyone gripping on as she hit the breaks incredibly hard.

She watched as her dad and the others drove into a herd of walkers, eventually losing sight of them.

Theo quickly got out of her seat and ran out the door.

"Theo!" She heard Abraham yell, but Daryl followed her out.

"Oh my god, can you see them?" She panicked, trying to see anything, headlights, hear someone yelling. Anything.

"Dad!!!" She screamed, not like they would here her anyway. 

"No, come on get back in" Daryl told her gently leading her back in.

"What do we do?" Carol asked as she looked around once they were safely back inside the RV.

"Wait here" Daryl began but stopped moving when he caught something entering the sky.

The rest of the group followed where he was looking to see a flare.

"That's them," Theo said confidently.

Abraham quickly jumped into the driver's seat and drove in the direction of the flare.

A few minutes passed and they got to a water tower, with a building in behind.

They got out slowly and cautiously, looking around to see no one around.

"Help!" someone yelled.

They ran in the direction it came from to see a man in his 20s, lying down with a walker heading his way.

Theo reacted by throwing a knife and the walker killing it quickly.

They continued to run, all guns pointed.

"Please, I think I broke my ankle," he begged. The man was clearly in a lot of pain.

"That flare, you with Aaron?" Theo asked, pointing her weapon at him as a warning.

"Aaron found you?" He asked, a smile playing on his lips.

"Name now!" Theo yelled with her gun still pointed at him

"Eric!" He answered with his hands up

"Get him up," Theo ordered, Daryl and Abraham helping him up.

"In there" Maggie pointed out a building, they opened the door and put Eric down, Maggie and Carol attending to him.

"You think he is with Aaron?" Tara asked, looking at Theo.

"The flare, he might be" Theo nodded "D, can you take the door?" She asked him
