2. Never Tear Us Apart

The next morning, everyone was awake and off to their new jobs, Glenn and Tara were with Aiden and Nicholas, the man on the gate when they first entered Alexandria, being chosen to go out on runs. The others off doing their own business.

Theo walked out of her new house the next day, Carol in a laughable outfit.

"You look ridiculous" Theo heard Daryl yell at her as Carol walked off down the road.

"Morning" Theo smiled looking at her favourite man.

"Mornin" Daryl replied fiddling with his crossbow.

"Didn't hear you get up?" She asked having woken up to an empty bed.

"Didn't wanna wake ya" He explained, looking up at her squinting front the sun.

"You got a job yet?" Rick asked his daughter walking over with Merle. 

"Nah, but i am going to go and find Deanna" She explained as she put her leather over her plain white top. She had the same shorts on as the day before, but a fresh pair of underwear made her jump for joy.

"I'll start on ya bike in a bit" Daryl yelled at her as she began walking down the road.

She turned to smile as she carried on walking, Daryl giving her a wink before she continued down the road.

"You gonna propose yet or what?" Rick laughed at Daryl making Merle look at his brother. 

Daryl whistled making Saint run around the corner and up to him.

"Yeah..."

"You're scared, I get it," Rick smiled at how nervous Daryl was.

"What if she doesn't wanna?" Daryl admitted

"Really brother?" Merle laughed as well as Rick. 

"You are joking right?" Rick was gobsmacked. 

"You might wanna do it before she does it to you" Merle teased making Rick smile walking down the road leaving Daryl alone with Saint.

Meanwhile, Theo had made it to Deanna's house.

She knocked on the door to an older man to answer

"Deanna here?" Theo asked confused.

"You must be Theo" He guessed, placing his glasses into his shirt pocket.

"Yeah, hi" She held her hand out for him to shake it.

"Reg, Deanna's husband, pleasure to meet you" He smiled standing to the side to let her into his house.

"You too, I was just her to see if she had a job for me yet." She asked

"Yes, she does" He walked over to the table and grabbed a piece of paper.

"You are going to conduct our second group of runners, my son Aiden goes out, infact with your friends Glenn and Tara i believe, but they aren't coming back with a whole lot of stuff, makes me wonder what they are actually doing out there. Either way, you and anyone else you want to go with you can, take a car, and your bike and try these places" Reg instructed.

"Alright, can i ask something?" Theo wondered.

"Sure" Reg smiled

"Why does Deanna...like me?" Theo couldn't think of the right word exactly but that's all she could think of.

"She is good at reading people, and she is never wrong" Reg explained as she handed her a pair of car keys.

"That's to the jeep at the back, blue" He nodded
