Chapter 57 | His Food |

*Yasei crawls out of Iwahatsus pocket and climbs back up to his shoulder*

*Honō looks around* "What a lovely home."

*Amajiki looks at them* "Good m..morning."

"Morning Amajiki... I'll get started on breakfast"
*Iwahatsu says as he climbs the stairs.*

*Honō follows Iwahatsu*

"Sounds l..lovely." *Amajiki says with a smile as everyone walks in*

*Iwahatsu attaches Honō to a pole in the dining room and sits him in a chair at the table.*

*Honō sits and crosses his legs*

*Yasei jumps off Iwahatsus shoulder onto the counter and climbs to the floor transforming back*

*Iwahatsu walks into the kitchen and starts getting food made.*

*Honō looks around and begins to whistle a tune out of boredom*

*Kangaeta walks over.*
"How are you?"

*Honō looks up at him* "I'm doing ok a little bored, how about you?"

"Glad to be out of the hospital"
*Kangaeta says sitting down.*

"Same. I dont like hospitals, too stuffy.." *Honō says looking at him*

"Yeah... that's one of the stuffier hospitals I have been in"
*Kangaeta says offering his hand to him.*

*Honō grabs his hand giving it a light squeeze*

*They can smell some meat cooking.*

"So Iwahatsu can cook? How lovely~" *Honō smiles*

"He is the best chief I have ever met."
*Kangaeta says looking into the kitchen watching Iwahatsu cook*

"Impressive, can't wait to taste it."

*Bakugo walks into the kitchen.*

*He walks behind Iwahatsu watching him cook*

"Hey Papa Katsuki"
*Iwahatsu says as he pours broth into a bowl*

"How are you, son?"

"I am doing fine... I am getting tired of being here..."
*Iwahatsu sighs*

"I understand..its taking longer then we expected.." *he grunts*

"Tsk, I was expecting it to take a month..."
*Iwahatsu sighs*
"It's only been about 2 weeks"

*He snears* "You're just being impatient that's all.."

"Papa Eijiro was complaining too"
*Iwahatsu smirks.*

*He smirks* "He was? Well that's not very heroic I'm gonna have to punish him"

"Heroic? PAH"
*Iwahatsu laughs*

*Bakugo rolls his eyes*

"Shouldn't you be at the new HQ set up with him?"
*Iwahatsu says looking over his shoulder*

*He grunts* "Yea I should be heading out there..I just wanted to make sure you can handle Honō..looks like you can manage.."

"I really think he wants to help... I mean look at him flirt with Kangaeta"
*Iwahatsu says pointing a spoon towards them.*

*Bakugo smirks and laughs* "Hes stealing your man! Haha!"

"I don't mind... because we knew from the beginning that... I was going to lose him sooner or later. But Kangaeta is willing to stay somewhat loyal with me... till then"
*Iwahatsu says with a sigh*

*Bakugo pats his shoulder* "Don't worry son. You'll bounce back and find someone even better."

"Yeah... But Yasei I am pretty sure thinks I am his"
*Iwahatsu grunts as he cooks*

"I like the kid he's a good kid a very good quirk too." *Bakugo say*

*Iwahatsu drops a couple of dumplings into the broth.*

"Well I should be going..you boys behave for Amajiki I'll message you when we are ready." *He heads for the door*

*Iwahatsu nods*

*Bakugo walks out the door slamming it behind him*

*Amjiki who was pulling plates jumps and drops them on the ground. They shatter as they hit the floor.*

*Yasei walks over to Amajiki from the den* "I'll help you pick those up."

*Honō looked over at the direction of the shattered plates*

*Iwahatsu sighs and starts to prep the finished food.*

*Yasei and Amajiki cleans up the mess, then Yasei hands Iwahatsu some plates for the food*

*Iwahatsu nods and starts setting plates*

*Yasei smiles watching him*

*Iwahatsu takes 2 plates, there are 3 plates left on the counter. But plenty of food left in the pans and pots.*

*Yasei and Amajiki grab the other plates and bring them to the table*

*Iwahatsu sets a plate in front of Kangaeta and Honō. He gives Kangaeta a kiss on the head before grabbing his plate. He sits down across Kangaeta and Amajiki sits with Iwahatsu.*

*Yasei sits down on the other side if Iwahatsu*

*Honō looks at the meal and takes in the smell*

"Just eat you bird wing"
*Iwahatsu scoffs taking a bite of a dumpling*

*Honō rolls his eyes and takes a bite, his eyes widen slightly at the taste*

"Good huh?"
*Kangaeta says grabbing his leg under the table*

*Honō nods* "It's excellent, never had a meal like this."

*Iwahatsu sighs as he eats.*
"Ok, where do we go from here? We have the bui-"

Knock
Knock

*Amajiki gets up and heads to the door, he opens the door a little bit* "H..Hello can I help you?"

"Hello Amajiki, it's Thompson... I was coming to see the kid you captured"
*Ms. Thompson says standing at the door.*

"Come in we are j..just having breakfast.." *He opens the door for her*

*Ms. Thompson comes in grabs a plate of food and sits with Amajiki*
"Thompson this is Honō"
*Iwahatsu says pointing at him*

*Honō looks at her and smiles* "Hello."

*Ms. Thompson takes a bit of food.*
"Very good sir"

*Honō continues eat, they continue to eat their meals they finish up and Yasei helps Amajiki clean off the table*
