"So when I got into my accident I had to go into the ER. Like of course after that anyone would. Katsuki told me later on that I had died and somehow come back. I was stuck in that hospital for months... but during that time, we had lost the tiny apartment we had. Katsuki went and tried to get our stuff but the landlord sold it all. We almost had nothing, we were homeless... but Thank goodness for Shoto and Deku. They invited us to stay on their couch. We had to stay like that for a good while... Iwahatsu's birthday came by when I was there in the hospital. We were so broke we couldn't get him anything. But we made a deal with the doctors. And he got to stay the night with me.... I was so happy he got too... But.... That night... I couldn't sleep... Iwahatsu had fallen asleep in my arms... but as I laid there... I couldn't stop thinking about Iwahatsu's well being... what if I was to go out back in the field and get hurt and... die... what would happen then... Iwahatsu would only have Katsuki around.... the heartbreak would probably be too much for them... so... that night I decided to retire and to open the agency... for my family's sake... I told Katsuki the next day, he agreed and got excited... I started to file the paperwork soon after. it got done just in time to go home to Deku's. The papers came back in... and were approved, when I was almost ready and had a building picked. we opened for business when I fully recovered... the building was an old inn, it had been abandoned. No one wanted it, and they were about to wreck it. But I bought it out after Shoto and Deku got us our money. It turned out that the Todoroki agency... which me and Katsuki had stationed in so he could rival Deku... were withholding money from us... it ended up being a lot of money... so with it I bought the inn. We had it renovated and set up for a call center. It was just me and Katsuki at first, but so many calls were coming in. It got overwhelming! So I hired our first help... her name was Pallavi, she ended up having to move back to India when we moved buildings. I miss her though... her quirk was literally making tea! Man it was the best tea I ever had... but back to the story of the agency.. We were so successful in that old inn that we had to call in more hero's a year after opening. eventually we moved out of that building... when moving into the new building, we were able to get out of Deku's house. And we lived in an apartment for a bit. When we expanded the building, about a year later we bought this property and had the house commissionaly built. And all that happened in about 2 1/2 years. I was so surprised... 3 years after we opened the agency we opened the branch in America. With the help of that branch... about 2 years later... we bought the current building and the London office was opened... it was and still is only a small call center but it still helps... Iwahatsu at that point was able to join Katsuki in the field at 13 years old, as the hero people know and love today... Grenadier... and that's the story of how I saved our family... and how we were pretty much on the streets then saved. I retired and opened the agency.

Oh one other thing... Back in the first building. A semi important agency liquidated, and coincidentally we were looking for hero's. Katsuki walked in the doors and there was Real Steel. He had come to ask to join us from the ad... you may know Real Steel as Kinzoku's dad. Fun fact we opened the 'daycare' in the agency back in the first building. It was because Iwahatsu would come 'home' from school... but we didn't have a place for him to go... so I went and picked him up. He would stay there with me. Eventually Real Steel started to bring Kinzoku. I doubt Iwahatsu remembers that they didn't like each other much back then... another thing, We actually don't get any money from the government. We operate as a branch off from the defense department of the government. But we have to sustain ourselves. So we do have a small tax for the people who use our services. It's only about ¥3000 a month. We also get money from whatever we salvage from accidents and missions. Like when we went to Kawaguchi. We got about ¥25,800,000,000  just from that. Which can last us a good while. Most of the money was found as American money actually. Soo... the conversion rate was extreme... Not to mention that we sold off stuff that we found. We sold off the guns we found there. Which we sold them in America, that gave us some. There was property's... furniture... etc... We are definitely good for about 3 years if we don't get any more money."
*Kirishima tells the story and explanation as he lays back on the bed.*
"I think we did a good job..."
