Y/N POV

I tumble down the steep slope until I finally stop and land face first in the dirt. I get up then sit cross legged and examine my wound. Looks like it didn't hit anything important which is good. I use my semblance to quickly heal myself. A noticeable scar is left behind but it's better than dying.

Y/N: "Alright, I'm in a cave with Oum knows what and my father took my main weapon."

I pull up my pant leg and take out my hunting knife. I look to the side and see a stalagmite; I break it off then walk over to a spiders web and collect some of its silk. I put my knife on the broken end of the stalagmite horizontally and use the spider silk to keep it together. I swing it a few times and it holds.

Y/N: "Now that I have a weapon for close range I need something for long range. I can use all of the dust types thanks to my mom teaching me how. Given my surroundings I think fire and earth will work best here."

I head deeper into the cave which is full of twists and turns like a maze. After a while of what feels like going around in circles I come across a set of really big tracks. I squat next to them and try to deduce what made them.

Y/N: "I'm dealing with a large grimm. Bigger than a Ursa but not taller the Goliath. It has a large paw with three long toes. Crap, looks like I'm dealing with a Wyvern. If I'm going to fight it I'm going to need some protection."

I follow the tracks when I encounter two Ursi and a Ursa Major. I use fire magic to roast one of Ursi and surround the second Ursa in stone and crush it to death. Then I make fire blow from my weapon to give it some extra power. My makeshift weapon pierces the Ursa Major's head and knocks its head off. I cut off some of its bone armor and use some spider silk to tie it to my body. I tie the last piece on and I now have armor covering my torso, back, shoulders and knees.

I continue to follow the tracks while killing any grimm I come across. I finally reach the Wyvern and see it sleeping. I sneak up to it and raise my weapon above my head for a downward strike. Unfortunately the Wyvern wakes up and swats me away with his head. I collide into the wall back first and I hear the bone armor crack. I speed myself up and zoom around the Wyvern hitting its soft spots. It swings its tail but I knee slide under it and lift up my weapon slicing off its tail. It roars in pan and aims its head at me and launches fireballs at me. I am able to dodge all but one which hits me and I am flung backwards and land chest first in a wall. I dig myself out and feel the armor on my chest break apart. I try to lift my right arm but feel pain; I look at my shoulder and see my collarbone sticking up from under my skin. I use my semblance to reverse the damage and heal my wound.

The Wyvern charges at me but I run around it and launch fireballs at it and scorching its back. It roars out and begins to take off; I run to it and jump and hold onto its back as it charges through and out of the cave. It reaches the outside and takes to the sky; I climb my way to its head while trying not to go flying off. I reach its head and slam the pointed end of the stalagmite all the way into its forehead killing it. It screeches in agony and starts to descend from the sky. I hold on for dear life until the Wyvern finally crashes into the ground while I use my semblance to slow myself down. I slow down enough that I can walk to a complete stop. I look at the Wyvern as it turns to ash and grab my weapon; I break my knife free and reholster it to my leg. I look around and see I landed in the town where my home is; I look up and see it is nighttime. I run back to my home only to find it in ruins; I search through the rubble when I find the stuffed animal I gave to my youngest sister, April. The animal is lightly scorched and covered in soot; I bring the animal to my forehead and let a single tear fall.

Y/N: "I'm sorry April but big brother couldn't protect you."

I stand up with the animal still in my hand and walk away from what was once my home. I look to the side and see the body of my so called father. I stand over his body and grip the stuffed animal tightly.

Y/N: "Serves you right old man, in the end you got what you deserved."

I turn away from him and begin walking away when I spot a set of tracks. They are from heels and they match the ones my mom wears. I look where the tracks are leading and follow them; after two hours of following them they just end as if she just disappeared into thin air. I look forward and see a city and decide to stay there until i can find any leads to my mother.

*HUGE timeskip*

It has been countless centuries and I still haven't found her. I have seen mankind advance over the years and seen them wage many wars. Some were for profit and some were for spite. Thanks to my mom being immortal I won't have to worry about ageing. Even though I'm in the same age range as her I still look eighteen. I make my way through a city that I can't remember the name of just walking around when I hear a alarm going off. I run to the place and see a man being thrown through a window. I look at him then inside the building and see a little girl fighting. I smile and walk inside the store to go and lend her a hand.
