Ch 15 Fight And Dance

Y/N POV

I am sitting in Ms. Goodwitch's class waiting for class to start. Soon the bell rings and class begins. Goodwitch taps on her table and two slots rotate; they stop and the combatants are picked.

Goodwitch: "Will Y/N and Pyrrha Nikos please come down and get ready?"

We go to the locker room and get ready; I strap my cane to my side and the stuffed animal to my hip. I head into the arena and see Pyrrha waiting in front of me. The screen displays our aura levels then Goodwitch yells.

Goodwitch: "Are both fighters ready?"

We nod and raise our weapons.

Goodwitch: "Begin!"

We charge at each other and Pyrrha swings her spear at me. I knee slide under it while tripping her up with my cane. She rolls to a recovery and fires her rifle at me; I dodge her gun fire and zoom around the battle field. I zip to her and uppercut her; she blocks it with her shield but is still sent backwards.

Pyrrha POV

I stop myself and look at my shield which has a dent in it. I then look at his hand and see his hand bent inwards. I cover my mouth in order to not puke.

Y/N: "What's wrong with you?"

Pyrrha: "Your hand."

He looks at it and he isn't bothered by it; somehow his hand heals itself and is back to normal.

I fix my shield and launch it at him. I watch it fly towards him but he is able to catch it and send it back to me. I catch it but there was some extra force behind it.

Y/N POV

I aim my cane at Pyrrha and fire a barrage of attacks at her. She dodges and blocks them with her shield then runs at me. She swings her xiphos at me but I block and counter hit her. She goes to punch me with her shield but I grab it and fling her to the side taking away her shield. Her xiphos flies out of her hand and she is left vulnerable. Wanting this to be a fair fight I holster my cane and lift up my fists. She does the same and we run at each other. She swings her left fist and I block it with my right arm then punch her stomach. She takes this moment to sling me over her shoulder and continuously punch me in my face. I catch her right fist and flip us over so I'm on top of her; I punch her over and over again until she flips me over with her leg. I recover and tackle her into a wall.

I speed up time and punch her in her ribs. I grab her ankle and throw to the middle of the ring. I walk to her and she is on her hands and knees. I reel my fist back when a buzzer goes off and Goodwitch stands between us.

Goodwitch: "Pyrrha Nikos' aura has fallen into the red, Y/N is the winner."

I put my fist down and stick my hand out to help Pyrrha up. She smiles and takes it.

Pyrrha: "That was a good match. You are very skilled."

Y/N: "You're not half bad yourself."

She collects her weapons and heads back into the locker room to change. I turn my head to face Cinder and my smile turns to a look of anger. She is wide eyed and tries to shrink back in her seat.

It is the night of the dance and I am wearing a traditional tux. I look down at Lupus and he is staring at me while wagging his tail. I look behind me and see the girls in their dresses.

Y/N: "You ladies look beautiful."

RWB: "Thank you."

Y/N: "So you ladies got a date to the dance?"

Ruby: "No."

Y/N: "Well then how about I take you?"

Weiss: "You would do that?"

Y/N: "Well yeah, no one should dance alone."

They smile and we leave for the dance; we enter and my first dance will be with Ruby. When we are finished I swap with Weiss. After that I have my turn with Blake; I walk over to the punch bowl to take a break and see Jaune sitting down. I sit next to him and decide to start a conversation.

Y/N: "Why aren't you dancing buddy?"

Jaune: "I had plans to ask someone but they asked someone else."

Y/N: "Why not ask Pyrrha?"

Jaune: "I don't think she'll want to."

Y/N: *sighs* "Jaune, she likes you and not just as a friend. Now tell me how do you feel about her?"

Jaune: "I like her too but what if it isn't meant to be?"

Y/N: "You won't know unless you take a chance."

He perks up and heads off to ask her to dance. I finish my punch then have my dance with Yang. When it was finished I turn to the door to the dance and see Cinder and her henchmen. I walk to Cinder and hold out my hand.

Y/N: "May I have this dance?"

Cinder: "Y-yes."

I escort her to the dancefloor and we begin dancing.

Y/N: "I hope you have thought over what I said."

Cinder: "Yes, we are leaving Beacon alone."

Y/N: "That is good to hear. You look good by the way."

Cinder: "T-thank you."

I spin her around and bring her close.

Cinder: "Why are you so interested in my boss?"

Y/N: "Because I think she may be someone I have been searching for, for a long time."

Cinder: "Who are you looking for?"

Y/N: "My mother. We haven't seen each other in a long time and she probably think I'm still dead."

Cinder: "Why would she think you are dead?"

Y/N: "Because a long time ago I was betrayed by my father and he most likely lied to her about what he did."

Cinder: "You must have been through a lot."

Y/N: "Yeah."

We finish our dance and for some reason Cinder hugs me. I return it and head back to my dorm with the others. I get ready for bed when Ruby stops me.

Ruby: "Y/N, there is something we would like to say."

I look at her and she along with the others have a blush on their face.

Y/N: "What is it?"

They all line up and each take turns kissing me.

Y/N: "So, I guess this means you four like me?"

Blake: "Yes."

Y/N: "Since when?"

Weiss: "Since you saved all of us from the Deathstalker and Nevermore."

Y/N: "Well then, I'm a idiot for not noticing."

They all hug me.

Yang: "Yes, but you're our idiot."
