Ch 2 Little Red

Y/N POV

I walk into the store with a cheesy name and see a little girl with black and red hair. She is swinging around a giant scythe and knocking out anyone who gets too close her. I see a man in a bowler hat trying to escape but I stop time for him and he freezes in place. I walk up to him and he looks at me with wide eyes.

Crime boss: "What did you do to me?"

Y/N: "I made you stop dumbass."

Crime boss: "Release me!"

Y/N: "No, I have some questions for you."

Crime boss: "I don't have to answer you!"

Y/N: "Your boss, who are the-oof"

I am cut off by one of the goons flying into me and knocking me to the ground. I get him off of me and look at where the man was and see he isn't there anymore. I growl in anger and head outside; I look to the left and see him climbing a ladder to the rooftop. I chase after him and I corner him on a ledge. I hear a gunshot behind me and  spot the girl from earlier make it onto the roof. I turn around and discover a bullhead as they're called hovering in the air and the man gets in it. He tosses a fire dust crystal and shoots at it. I speed myself up and tackle the girl out of the way. It goes off and I can feel the heat burn the clothes on my back. I turn around and see a blonde woman wave a riding crop while purple lasers hit the bullhead. Helping her I speed up her attacks and they blow holes in the bullhead.

The blonde makes black smoke appear above the bullhead and icicles rain down on the bullhead. A fireball is launched from the bullhead and the blonde deflects it. That proves to be a mistake because the person who threw it makes a pillar of fire erupt from under the blonde. I use my semblance to make her fast enough to dodge it. The blonde then uses the rubble from the attack to make a giant lance and sends it at the bullhead. the fire wielder breaks apart the lance the best she can but the blonde breaks it into sections. The sections go to hit the bullhead but the fire user sends out a heatwave which destroys the sections. The fire person makes circles around the girls but they dodge. While they do that I see the bullhead start to take off but I fire a tiny tracker onto the back of the person who was just fighting us. I turn to the blonde and she has a less than friendly expression on her face.

Girl: "You're a huntress. Can I have a autograph?"

We are taken to a police station and put in a room sitting at a table with the blonde huntress in front of us giving a lecture.

Huntress: "I hope you realize that you two's actions tonight will not be taken lightly."

Y/N: "Why am I even here all I did was save you two?"

Huntress: "You are here because I decided you should be."

Y/N: *stands up* "I don't have to listen to you." *starts walking out*

Huntress: *waves riding cop* "You will stay here young man."

Y/N: *turns around* "I am the farthest thing from a young man. Besides you aren't my mother so you don't get to boss me around."

Huntress: *vein pops out from her head* "You will learn some respect!"

She goes to hit me but I use my semblance and freeze her in place. She tries to move but can't and I walk to her and stare into her eyes.

Y/N: "I've already suffered being beaten by my father. I refuse to let someone else do it too."

She stares at me with fear in her eyes and I go to leave when the door opens. A man with a green suit and white hair walks in holding a plate of cookies and a mug of coffee. Something about him seems familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Man: "I will have to ask you to kindly release that woman and to take a seat."

I eye him up and down trying to figure out why he looks so familiar. I listen to him and release the woman and take a seat next to the girl with a red hood. He stands near the table and looks at us.

Man: "Ruby Rose, you have...silver eyes."

Ruby: "Uh-"

Man: "So, where did you learn to do this?"

He shows us a video he somehow got of Ruby fighting the men from the store.

Ruby: "S-Signal Academy."

Man: "They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?"

Ruby: "Well, one teacher in particular."

Man: "I see-"

He sets the plate of cookies down and Ruby gingerly takes and eats one. Seeing no repercussions she begins scarfing them down. I go to get one but she slaps my hand away and slides the plate away from me and continues eating them.

Man: "It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill. A dusty old crow..."

Ruby: "That's my uncle Qrow. He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like..."

She then goes on to do kung fu moves with added sound effects.

Man: "So I've noticed, and what is a adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?"

She explains how she has always wanted to be a huntress and be a hero like in the one she reads about.

Man: "Do you know who I am?"

Ruby: "You're professor Ozpin,-"

I go wide eyed and the whole world goes silent. This man, no he can't be. The name just has to be a coincidence, but if it proves to be true then how the hell is he still alive after all of these centuries?

Ozpin: "And what about you?"

I snap out of my thoughts and return to reality.

Y/N: "What did you say?"

Ozpin: "I said how would you feel about joining my school?"

Y/N: *thinks for a moment* "Sure I'll join your school."
