Fashionably Late

Your POV

The car jerked to a halt. I immediately reached for the door handle so that I could escape from the death trap car. How are we still alive i questioned.

Saeko ran ahead of us to check if people were still in the gym while we grabbed the bags from the boot of the car. Once they had their bags, Hinata and Kageyama made a beeline for the gym. I kept pace behind them. They burst through the gym doors, panting heavily out of breath. I stood off to the side, out of view, behind the door. I decided to let them have their Cinderella at the ball moment. Their entrance had caught the attention of everyone in the gym. Hinata spotted me hiding behind the door. "What are you doing" he whispered.

"I'm letting you guys make your dramatic entrance" I whispered back.

"You're part of the team now too, get over here" Kageyama hissed before grabbing my wrist and yanking me in between the two of them. Now all eyes were on me.

Third person POV

Saeko pushed open one of the large metal doors to the gym. "Oh good they're still at it, we made it in the nick of time" she sighed in relief.

"NEE-CHAN" Nishinoya's face lit up.

"I had no idea you had a sister Noya" Asahi was bewildered.

"No that's Tanaka's sister" Noya explained.

"Oh yeah i can kinda see the resemblance" Suga added.

"What's up bro" Saeko shouted from across the gym. That's when Hinata and Kageyama burst through the doors.

"Glad to see you guys made it in one piece" Tanaka joked. It was then he realised (Y/N) was no where to be seen. A drop of sweat rolled down his forehead. There was a high possibility that his sisters reckless driving had killed you !

Meanwhile on the second court, the boys unexpected entrance had caught the attention of a particular team.

"So the stars of the show decided to arrive fashionably late ? Oh how tackyyyy" remarked a tall, dark haired boy with what only could be described as a bad case of bed head. Just then a third figure appeared in the doorway. It was a girl he hadn't seen before.

"No fair, they've got another one and she's the hot type." whined a mow-hawked haired boy. "That's three girl managers Kuroo, THREE. We don't even have one" he sulked.

"She's not a manager, Shoyo told me they got a cool new coach." mumbled a boy with cat-like golden eyes and blonde hair that was black at the roots.

"No way, she's a coach ?" The bed head boy said in disbelief. "Things just got a whole lot more interesting" he slyly smirked.

Your POV

Hinata and Kageyama were subbed into the game straight away. It was already the last match of the day since we had arrived so late. The duo's presence seemed to change the whole dynamic of the match. It was clear that their quick attack was pissing off the Shinzen High captain. Kiyoko had been taking notes for me while I wasn't there. I flicked through the notepad. "They haven't won a single set yet ?" I furrowed my eyebrows in worry.

"They've been doing nothing but diving drills all afternoon as penalty" Yachi pouted. Then why are we winning this set all of a sudden, is the freak quick attack really that powerful I wondered.

I returned my focus back to the match. The duo went in for another attack but this time the Shinzen blocker just tipped the ball. He caught up I gasped. Their quick attack is powerful but if a team can catch up to it in a practice match, then i don't want to imagine what would happen in a real game.
