Your POV

"(Y/N), (Y/N) we're here" I heard. I opened my eyes just as Hinata was about to poke me in the face. I felt a sudden chill all over my body. That's when I remembered that I was only in my swimming togs. I unzipped my bag and took out an oversized jumper and a pair of basketball shorts. I threw them on over my togs before getting off the bus.

"Just a reminder that there's an inspection going on in the gym tomorrow so there will be no training. So take it easy and get some rest" Takeda announced.

The boy's headed to the club room but I decided it was better to get changed in the bathroom since I needed to put on underwear. Now that I was properly dressed I could finally feel some warmth in my body. I was about to head home when I noticed that the gym light was still on. I could faintly hear the distinctive sound of volleyballs bouncing off the ground. I peered my head around the door only to see a distressed Yachi. That's when I saw Kageyama grab Hinata by the collar of his shirt.

"Do you want to perfect a quick attack or try a completely useless quick attack huh ?" Kageyama screamed in his face. While it was normal for these two to quarrel, I could tell this wasn't just a play fight. This isn't good I gulped. Hinata wasn't backing down. He grabbed hold of Kageyama's arm.

"I told you I want to be able to fight on my own" he barked. Kageyama lost it.

"And I'm telling you your selfish attitude is tearing this team apart." he violently shook Hinata before shoving him to the ground. Yachi trembled in fear.

"OI, stop it both of you" I shrieked running to stand between the two.

"I'll set to whoever I have to, to win" kageyama huffed. This seemed to light a fire within Hinata.

"KAGEYAMA" he yelled, he got up off the floor and charged straight at Kageyama. I held my arms out to try stop him but he pushed me out of the way. I fell right down on my ass. Hinata was so filled with rage in that moment that he didn't even realise that he had shouldered me out of the way. He latched around Kageyama's waist.

"Throw me a damn set do you hear me." He demanded. Kageyama flung Hinata right back onto the floor. Hinata instantly got back up and grabbed Kageyama's face. Kageyama tried to push Hinata off him but Hinata wasn't budging. While all this was happening I was still sitting on the floor in shock. I snapped out of my trance. The two boys looked as if they were about to murder one other. I sprung into action.

"OI, I SAID STOP IT" I shrieked. They took no notice of me. I had no choice but to physically break them up. I punched Kageyama in the face and kneed Hinata in the stomach. They both fell to the floor groaning in pain. "I'm so so sorry, I didn't know how else to stop ye" I apologised. 

Just then Tanaka came sprinting into the gym. "OI, BREAK IT U-, oh I see you took care of it (Y/N)" he stopped in his tracks.  "Nice kill" he joked in attempt to lighten the mood.

Yachi helped Hinata up off the ground. I offered my hand out to Kageyama but he pushed it away. We walked in silence out of the gym. Hinata offered to walk Yachi to the bus stop, they left together. I thought it was a bad idea to leave kageyama on his own, I decided to follow him to make sure he was ok. I kept my distance so he wouldn't know I was tailing him.

"I can hear you behind me dumbass" he groaned. "Why are you following me, you don't even live on this side of town" he noted

"I-I eh wanted to make sure you were alright" I said looking down at my feet.

"I'm fine, except for the fact that someone punched me in the face" he grumbled.

"I am truly sorry, I was just so scared that you'd kill one another" I protested. "Let me walk you home, that's the least I can do." I pleaded. I got no response, he turned his back to me and started to walk away. If he didn't hate me before, he definitely does now I sighed. I turned to head back in the opposite direction.
