A/N- hey hey hey readers, so for the sake of this chapter [y/n] will be on the relay instead of Sosuke as he's 'preserving' his shoulder for the National relay. Also it's going to be a mixed 400m medley relay. Normally this would be 2 guys and 2 girls but I'm breaking the rules for this story. Basically it's 'mixed' so the teams entered can either be all boys, all girls or a mixture of boys and girls.

Your POV

"Oh Wow" I gasped as the bus pulled up in front of the hotel. It certainly was extravagant. Talk about five star luxury treatment I thought. "Now I see where all the school's funds seem to be going" I remarked. If only the Karasuno boys were this lucky. Poor Takeda Sensei always struggled to find an affordable bus for our away trips. Staying in this colossal fancy hotel almost made me feel guilty. My thoughts were interrupted by Momo shouting.

"HEY GOU" he screamed before running into the hotel lobby where Gou and the rest of the Iwatobi swim club stood. Gou completely ignored Momo's presence as if he was invisible and instead focused her attention on Rin.

"Well what do ya know, looks like we're all staying in the same hotel" Rin noted.

"Great detective work there Sherlock" I sarcastically chimed in. Rin rolled his eyes at my comment. Beside him Momo could no longer suppress his emotions. He jumped in front of Rin and I.

"Gou please pay attention to me" Momo begged. "The Otter needs some tender love and care too" he whined. Oh no, not this again I groaned. Momo had the tendency to over share random facts about himself when he tried to impress a girl. I remember the first time I met Momo, he told me where the first place he washes when he showers is. Let's just say I've been scarred ever since.

"Fact, my favourite ice cream bar is chocolate pudding... Fact, when ordering a hamburger I always get triple cheese" he blabbered. He clasped Gou's hand and gazed into her mulberry eyes lustfully. "Fact, the kind of girl guaranteed to drive me crazy- he got cut off.

"Is off limits" Rin finished the sentence. Rin's over protective brotherly instinct had kicked in. He aggressively grabbed Momo by the neck of his jacket and dragged him away. The rest of us followed behind them.

"Everyone get settled into your rooms and meet back here in 20 minutes" Rin instructed.

"Aye aye ca- I was also cut off.

"Don't finish that sentence or i'll drag you by your jacket too" Rin threatened me. I kept my mouth shut, clearly Rin was not in a playful mood.

Being the only girl on a boys swim team had its perks, it meant that I got an entire bedroom to myself. I unlocked the door and waddled my way inside. In the centre of the room was a large king sized bed. This evoked the little kid inside me, I sprinted towards the bed before leaping up and bellyflopping down onto it. The bed seemed to engulf me as I sank further down into the soft memory foam mattress. I could stay like this forever I thought to myself. Unfortunately I was dragged back into reality by someone knocking on my door. I checked the time on my phone, crap I had fallen asleep. The team meeting was long over by now. I rubbed my eyes before getting up to see who was at the door. I unlocked it to see Rin. He's here to give out to me isn't he I gulped.

"I'm so sorry, I fell asleep, I swear I wasn't ditching the meeting" I argued. I studied the look on Rin's face, he didn't appear to be mad.

"Oh don't worry about the meeting. I just swung by to check you were alright. I thought maybe I had upset you earlier when I snapped." he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. Rin apologising ? Now that's something you don't hear often. I scrunched my nose in confusion. What is he apologising for ? I wondered.
