Your POV

It has been an entire week since I last saw Rin and the rest of the swim team. I was beyond excited for this mornings practice. I had really missed their annoying faces ! I made my way out on deck. When I saw Rin my legs began to sprint in his direction.

"Hey, hey, hey, did ya miss me ?" I yelled before leaping into the air and latching onto his back. Did I just turn into Bokuto ? I thought. I wrapped my legs around his torso so that I wouldn't fall off.  I hugged my arms around his shoulders and nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck.

"Ok, who are you and what have you done with (y/n) ?" He jokingly questioned. "It's too early for you to be functioning like this." He noted. "Now get off, you're heavy." He groaned. I hopped off his back.

"I couldn't contain myself, I missed that stupid face of yours." I said while pinching his right cheek as if I was some older relative of his. I let go and turned to  Momo. I reached my arm up and pulled him down into a headlock.

"And how could I forget about your dumb face." I ruffled his hair before releasing him from my grasp. I looked over to Nitori who put his arms up in defence. He was afraid of what I was going to do to him.

"And of course I missed your cute face too Nitori." I booped his little nose. "Hell, I even missed you mr grouchy." I pointed over to Sosuke.

"You know, I'm kinda glad you aren't like this every morning or I don't think I'd be able to stand you." Rin teased.

"Well it's nice to see that you haven't changed one bit in a week Rin." I chimed sarcastically.

"It's good to have you back though." He sincerely smiled. "But let's see if you've been keeping up with your training." he proclaimed.

"Oh just you wait boys I'm going to be running laps around you." I declared.

"Uhh (y/n) don't you mean swimming laps around us ?" Nitori asked.

"I do that already, but just wait till you see how good I've gotten at running." I teased.

"Save that smack talk for regionals. Now get into the water before I dunk you in myself." Rin ordered.

"Aye aye captain" I mocked him.

"Ugh she's even more irritating than Momo." Sosuke remarked.

"It's ok to admit that you missed me Sosuke." I giggled. He only huffed in response. With that I jumped into the pool and began the warm up. The others followed suit.

After the session Rin called me over.

"What's up ? Is it that you got tired of trying to keep pace with me during the main set ?" I taunted. Rin's forehead creased in annoyance.

"No that's not what I was going to say." he barked. His expression shifted to an evil grin. "Tomorrow, Samezuka Academy are holding a cultural festival." Rin stated.

"And what does that have to do with me ?" I was puzzled.

"Well we're going to be having a swim club booth at it and it's an old Samezuka swim club tradition that the booth will be an underworld maid cafe." He smirked. Why is he smirking at me like that, there has to be a catch to this I worried.

"Wait hold up so you're telling me you're going to be dressed as a maid." I burst out laughing.

"No, but you will." He chuckled.

"Wait what, me ? I don't even go to school here." I protested.

"Yes but you are a member of the swim team which means you will be part of the booth. The tradition is that first and second years have to dress up like maids while the third years are butlers." He explained.
