Your POV

The bus to Tokyo was scheduled to leave at midnight. We all gathered in the school yard. The night was rather humid, the sound of crickets chirping could be heard in the distance. Since Hinata, Kageyama and I had travelled with Saeko the last time we had missed out on this. "Awesome, leaving in the middle of the night is so cool" Hinata declared.

"It must be nice to be an idiot, you can fall asleep anywhere" Tsukki snidely remarked. 

"We'll be arriving at our destination early in the morning. Ukai and I will take turns driving." Takeda informed us. Please god let them be normal drivers i prayed.  "Sorry If I nod off" Coach Ukai said while yawning. His comment didn't really reassure me.

It was going to be a long journey to Tokyo, so who you sat next to on the bus was crucial. I had originally agreed to sit with Yachi, however a cunning plan popped into my head. Recently I had been picking up on how Yamaguchi acts around her. And if I'm correct, I'm pretty sure he has a little crush on her. If my plan works, it means I'll get stuck sitting next to Tsukki but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for Yams. I made my way over to Yamaguchi who was talking to Hinata.

"Hey Yams, you're sitting with Tsukki on the bus right ?" I innocently asked.

"Of course" he smiled.

"I'm so sorry about this but I actually completely forgot that I need to discuss a new training technique with him. Would you mind if I sat next to him instead ?" I enquired.

"Sure that's no problem with me, I think it'll be good for Tsukki to learn some new skills" Yams approved.

*insert terrible acting skills*
"Oh shoot, I forgot I had promised Yachi I'd sit with her, would you mind sitting with her instead Yams ? I'd hate for her to be all alone" I gave my best puppy dog eyes.

His face went blush red. "S-Sit with Y-Yachi ?" His voice squeaked.

"Yup, sit with Yachi, maybe talk a bit, have some laughs, get all cozy, oops em I mean eh comfortable" I said trying to convince him.

"Yeah I-I can do that" he proclaimed.

"Great, thank you so much Yams, you're a star" I praised him. His cheeks slightly blushed pink. I made my way onto the bus. I scanned the seats in search of tsukki. He was near the middle of the bus, sitting in the window seat of course. I plopped myself down beside him but immediately turned around in my chair so that I could see where Yachi was sitting.

"Eh what do you think you're do- I pressed my index finger against his lips to silence him. "Shhhhh" I hissed. Just then Yams passed us and made his way down to where Yachi was sitting. Damn it, I couldn't hear what they were saying. Tsukki slapped my hand away from his face.

"What did you do, why would Yamaguchi sit next to Yachi? " he growled.

"You know for a smart guy Tsukki, you're pretty oblivious when it comes to things like this" I noted.

"What's that supposed to mean ?" he demanded to know. 

"I'm simply playing my role as match maker" I joked. "Come on, don't tell me you haven't noticed the way Yams looks at Yachi. He likes her, idiot." I explained.
